I had an oil change done on 4/23/26 and shortly after

I had to stop at Mavis Tires & Brakes, where the technician informed me that my skid plate was barely hanging on by one zip tie, with missing screws and damaged parts. I was also told my oil cap was left loose, causing my vehicle to leak oil.
What makes this even more concerning is that my paperwork only stated the skid plate was “bent” — nothing about it barely being attached or being a safety hazard. This could have caused an accident, left me stranded while traveling, or caused serious engine damage from leaking oil.
Since reporting this issue, it has been constant back and forth communication of “we are looking into it,” yet there has still been no real resolution or accountability taken for what happened. Very disappointed with the lack of care, urgency, and concern for customer safety.
