Dan Eager is excellent, but It took four days to repair the malfunctioning iDrive in my car, because BMW of Darien never has parts in inventory for most repairs. The BMW model of shipping parts to its dealers when needed, sometimes all the way from Germany, may work for BMW of Darien and maybe for BMW of North America, but certainly does not work for the customers waiting for their cars. When BMW of Darien had the iDrive disassembled, I could not even take my car back until the parts would be there. BMW offered a loaner, but the repair took even longer than expected and by then I had returned the loaner. BMW offered North America has shipped so many parts for my cars over the years that I would have expected them to have a better grasp of shipping times. More
