The Best Service Department Anywhere! I just wanted to thank the Service Department at Tuscon Subaru, and especially the Service Technician, Dan Ford, for the excellent service we received I just wanted to thank the Service Department at Tuscon Subaru, and especially the Service Technician, Dan Ford, for the excellent service we received yesterday. My husband and I live in Silver City, NM (3 hours away), and the AC in our 2014 Forester had not been operating properly. Our vehicle was just out of warranty, and after performing some diagnostic tests, Dan determined that the issue was likely a faulty compressor. He took the initiative to contact Subaru America on our behalf, to ask if they would honor the recently lapsed warranty, and they agreed! Our car was repaired at no cost to us! Needless to say, we were very satisfied customers. However, even if we had been required to pay for the repairs, the kind, courteous, and professional service we received at Tucson Subaru, was excellent. From the loaner that we received, the periodic updates from Dan on the vehicle’s status, and the clean and comfortable waiting area in the Service Department, made our experience one that we will not soon forget. We were able to make the 3 hour drive home in cool comfort! We will happily recommend Tuscon Subaru to any and all Subaru owners who are in need of service.
