Also, the labor was quoted as a Lump Sum and using the posted rate, amounted to twice the actual amount of time to perform the work. Also, having provide the results of the diagnostics from the first shop it was at, Cortese took an hour and a half to provide the same information. This was longer than it took for the non-Ford shop to determine the problem and provide the same solution (which was provided to Cortese). It does not appear to be the fault of the members of the service department, instead it is whoever handles the pricing in the system. Horrible experience. Very concerned with others having work done and not taking the time to verify that they are not being intentionally overcharged. We are still going to be in the market to purchase a new vehicle in the next six months, but after this experience it will not be a Ford or anything from any member of the Cortese group. More
