Thank you for answering. Dave Dimatteo presented himself in a very friendly manner, however, quickly changed his tune when I contacted him within one day of leasing a car and finding it to be not totally how he presented it. I'd been thinking of turning in my current Nissan Rouge lease but thought I'd test drive something else first. I explained to Dave that I was a first responder and COVID worker, of advanced age (70 yrs. old) and needed a safe vehicle that could get me to work in any kind of weather. Dave said the Rouge was "like a tin can" compared with the Kia Sportage which. Along with the financial manager, we reached a price which was only about $20 less than what my previous Nissan dealership offered me for a new Rouge. But I liked Dave very much and trusted him when he assured me I would be safer in the Kia Sportage so I went along with it. A day later when I drove the vehicle on the highway, I didn't find the safety features to be as Dave described and felt very unsafe driving the car. When I contacted Dave that same day his answer to me was "well, you test drove the car". He said he would get back to me on Monday after speaking to his manager. I did not hear back from him and called again. Dave told me again that he would speak to his manager and get back to me. For the next several weeks, each time I called to speak to Dave or the financial person, Sal, they did not take my call. I could actually hear the person who answered the phone stumbling over her words when she came back to the phone and said they were not available or would get back to me. Weeks later, I was finally able to reach Sal who made an appt. for me to come in to speak to him. He had to reschedule this appointment a few times. He and Dave said that the Kia Sportage was as described and that it was "just that I didn't like the safety features". By then, I no choice but to turn in the vehicle and lease a Rouge from Napoli Nissan for almost double the monthly payment. I was shocked at Dave and Sal's coldness and deeply hurt by the manner in which I was treated. I am not an aggressive person and went about this in a kindly manner, trusting that Dave and Napoli Kia would do the right thing. I feel they took advantage of an elderly person during the most vulnerable time possible. I think the situation could have been handled in an agreeable manner if Dave or Sal had responded immediately to my quest for help.
