Wow, wow, WOW! Originally, I was a Honda girl. About a month ago, I went to Garavel Subaru with my sister, who thought I should consider a Subaru since I was in Originally, I was a Honda girl. About a month ago, I went to Garavel Subaru with my sister, who thought I should consider a Subaru since I was in the market for a new car. Subaru is definitely in my family! My daughter has one, my brother has one, my sister has one, and my brother-in-law has one. They all thought it was time for me to join the Subaru family! My recent car was a beautiful silver Honda Accord, and I absolutely loved my Honda. The reason I needed a new car was because my Accord was too low for me to get in and out of comfortably. Soooooo, my family thought an SUV would be a much better choice for me. My sister and I went to the Subaru dealership where she has purchased several of her cars, and we met with Dave, her salesperson. I told Dave right away, “I’m a Honda person, and if you want me to buy a Subaru, you’re going to have to convince me!” We had a great meeting that lasted a couple of hours. Dave gave me some information to take home so I could look everything over, and we talked about the Subaru Forester Touring. I took the information home, discussed it with my family, and we all agreed that I should get the Forester Touring. A couple of weeks later, my sister and I went back to Subaru for another meeting with Dave. I told him I was interested and that I was ready to buy the Forester Touring SUV. Apparently, Dave really did convince me that I should buy a Subaru! He was extremely knowledgeable, informative, very nice, and — most importantly — incredibly patient with me. So, I ordered my Forester Touring in Ice Silver. When my car arrived at Subaru, Dave called me and said, “Your car is ready!” I was so excited and couldn’t wait to drive my new car home. My sister and I went to pick it up, and when we pulled into the lot and I saw the car sitting in front of the showroom, I couldn’t believe my eyes. The Ice Silver is such a beautiful color! My Hondas were also silver, but this silver was even more beautiful. Dave spent about four hours with my sister and me, both inside and outside the car, explaining so many things that, at one point, I was getting a brain freeze from all the information! 😂 But he made sure I understood everything and never made me feel rushed. Then it was finally time to drive my new Subaru home. I drove my sister home and then started my trip from Connecticut back to Queens, near LaGuardia Airport. And on the way home, it started pouring — and I mean pouring like crazy! I messaged my sister and my daughter and said, “Oh my gosh! It is raining so hard! My brand-new car is getting rained on so badly!” My sister replied, “Now your car is being christened.” And you know what? I thought about that, and decided she was right. My new car was being blessed from the heavens above, and I’m going to have the best luck ever with this car! ☔️❤️ I want to sincerely thank Dave and the entire Garavel Subaru team for taking the time to work with me. Everyone was so nice and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I will be servicing my car at Garavel Subaru, even though it is about an hour and a half drive for me. That says a lot about how much I trust this dealership and the people who work there. I will continue to be dedicated to the wonderful team at Garavel Subaru, and I hope that throughout the many years I have my Forester, they will continue to take such good care of me. I have seen firsthand the incredible attention they give to my sister and brother-in-law, who also service their cars there. Thank you, Dave, and thank you to everyone at Garavel Subaru. You took a Honda girl and turned her into a Subaru girl! ❤️🚙 I absolutely love my new Forester Touring! More
