Dear Left Empty Handed: When you posted your first review on social media, I immediately reached out to you by email and offered my sincere apology. At Certified Benz and Beemer, we price our vehicles very competitively so it is not uncommon for there to be more than one person interested on the same vehicle at the same time. It is for this reason that we cannot HOLD vehicles for in-state customers. On Dec 26, you came into the dealership to see the Lexus that you had previously expressed interest in but you decided not to purchase the vehicle at that time. On Dec 29, a different customer called and set an appointment to see the Lexus the following day. On Dec 30, you contacted the product specialist that you were working with and indicated that you changed your mind and wanted to purchase the Lexus. At that time, you were provided the total cost because you wanted to go to the bank to get a cashier's check. As it turns out, the other customer arrived at the dealership far sooner than expected and decided to purchase the vehicle before you showed up at the dealership. While your product specialist did inform you of this prior to you coming to CBB, he should have informed you ahead of time that another customer had made an appointment to see the Lexus you were interested in and certainly before you went to get a cashier's check. This information may have allowed you to change your schedule to come in right away to purchase. We have reviewed this with our staff and stressed the importance of clearly communicating with our customers. In any event, I certainly understand why you were angry and frustrated as to how your transaction was handled. Again, I apologized and offered to see what I could do to make things right. Although you rejected my offer, I remain willing to assist you in any way possible. Sincerely, Jack Schneider, Owner
