Got the car I wanted - From a professional team of experts I went to the wrong Toyota dealership by mistake, and boy am I glad !!! I meant to go to the Oxnard location, but accidentally ended up at Ventura Toy I went to the wrong Toyota dealership by mistake, and boy am I glad !!! I meant to go to the Oxnard location, but accidentally ended up at Ventura Toyota. I found a fantastic car at a very pleasant competitive price. My salesman Deon Simpson was smart and witty, and not unpleasant to listen to, (although I still think my jokes were funnier than his). Surprisingly, after getting into the price range I asked for, and on the car I WANTED, I was introduced to the Top Dog of previously owned vehicles to seal the deal. And although once again, I still think my jokes were funnier than his, I was again amazed to find a very non stressful situation, very professional team of folks that went above and beyond to get me into the car I wanted. I am amazed by this Toyota dealership and I am happy to be a valued customer. Purchase of Toyota Certified Vehicle This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Ventura Toyota. Both purchases have been a good experience even though the duration of the buying pr This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Ventura Toyota. Both purchases have been a good experience even though the duration of the buying process took a long time. Deon was very helpful in identifying the right vehicle for what I was looking for. He was very supportive to my concerns and sought to resolve them the best way he could. I feel that Deon was working for both sides and trying to come to the best outcome for both parties, which I believe he did successfully. I would go back to this dealership and recommend others to this dealership because of the experience I had with Deon and Sam Swain (in finance). The only thing I would like to suggest is that on purchasing a certified used vehicle the dealership should be willing to provide accessory items at a better discount rate. I had mentioned that I would like side steps for the vehicle I purchased a few times and was only offered a 20% discount for the item at the parts department. I looked on-line while at the discussion table and found the same item for 50% less. Would have liked to purchase from the dealer but at that discount rate had to go with the other supplier. More
