Sarant will steal your social security number. Sarant will steal your social security number and run your credit without your permission. On February 15th I went to Sarant Cadillac to get a price Sarant will steal your social security number and run your credit without your permission. On February 15th I went to Sarant Cadillac to get a price on a vehicle. They did not have the vehicle I wanted but I was told by the sales person Dominic that he would get the vehicle and call me when he finds it. I called again on 5/22/19 and Dominic stated he did not get the vehicle yet. I did tell him that I had to be out of my vehicle by 2/28/19. I went to Sarant again on 2/28/19 and he still did not have the vehicle so I told him I was buying the vehicle at another dealership since I had to be out of my vehicle 2/28/19. While I was at the other dealership buying the car on 2/28/19 at 7:00pm I received an alert from Life Lock that Sarant Cadillac ran my credit. I called Dominic immediately and asked him how and why are you running my credit when I never filled out any paperwork, signed anything or gave you my social security number. Dominic stated he found the vehicle and was going to have it there on 3/1/19 I told him that was too late I had to be out of my car that day 2/28/19. I then said to him how could you run my credit when I never filled out any paperwork, signed any paperwork? He did not have an answer for me. I then asked Dominic I never gave you my social security number how did you get it. Dominic stated that he got my social security number from an old vehicle deal from 2016. I was very upset that he stole my social security number from a deal I did at their dealership years ago. Sarant Cadillac has no paperwork at all for any vehicle deal. Sarant Cadillac has no signed paperwork to run my credit. I did not give my social security number to Sarant Cadillac or Dominic in February 2019. Instead Sarant Cadillac took my social security number from a deal I did with them years ago. This is 100% illegal to run someones credit without their consent. I spoke with the sales manager Antonio and just asked for them to remove the inquiry on my credit report as it lowered my score. Antonio knew what happened and stated it would be removed to give them 30 days. I waited the 30 days until March 31st 2019 and the inquiry was still not removed. I went to Sarant and spoke with Antonio again and he stated his representative that handles this needed more time. So I waited another 30 days until 5/1/19 and the inquiry is still there. I have called for Antonio 3 times he is not returning my calls. I have gone to Sarant to speak with him and he will not see me. So I am now filing with the appropriate agencies to rectify my social security number from being stolen and an unauthorized credit check being placed on my credit report. More
