This has been, by far, the worst dealership experience I’ve ever had — from start to finish. When I first purchased my vehicle, it took multiple visits over several days because the dealership couldn’t I’ve ever had — from start to finish. When I first purchased my vehicle, it took multiple visits over several days because the dealership couldn’t locate key items like my title and license plate. That should have been the first red flag. On the financial side, I was charged $4,700 for a warranty I was told was active. In reality, the warranty was never applied. For 23 months, I paid interest on that $4,700 at a 9.31% rate, totaling $5,149.96, for a warranty that didn’t even exist. To make matters worse, I went in for a small windshield chip repair that should have been covered under the warranty (coverage up to 6-inch cracks from my understanding). They turned me away, saying I didn’t have warranty coverage. That chip later turned into a full crack — costing me $1,200 out of pocket. After trading in my car, the dealership in Ann Arbor (who were excellent) advised me to check on any possible refunds. That’s when I discovered the warranty was never applied in the first place. When I went back to Suburban Toyota of Farmington Hills, I was told someone at the “other dealership” must have canceled it — which was factually impossible since it was never activated to begin with. Even after multiple in-person visits, phone calls, and emails, I received no help. Only after contacting Toyota Brand Engagement did I get a call from a manager within 15 minutes, promising I’d receive my refund within three days. It’s now been over three weeks, and I still haven’t received a refund or even an update. I’ve reached out to Don and several other employees multiple times with zero response. The lack of communication, transparency, and accountability here is absolutely unacceptable for a Toyota dealership. I am now filing a formal complaint with Toyota Corporate and the Better Business Bureau, and I will be sharing my documented experience to ensure others are aware of how this dealership operates. Suburban Toyota of Farmington Hills has shown zero integrity, zero professionalism, and zero regard for customer trust. Avoid this dealership at all costs — they’ll take your money, ignore you, and leave you fighting for what’s rightfully yours while gaslighting you to think its not them its someone else. More

Don was great from day one and even though his dealership wasn’t able to secure me a car in the timeframe I needed it, I would absolutely have loved to purchase from Don. He was extremely personable and seemed very genuine in all of his interactions with us. He tried extremely hard to make something happen for us and we greatly appreciated that about him.
