I just always thought they were always trying to charge me for things that made no sense. This my first Lexus and I love the SUV. I got free oil changes until 40,000 miles. I found out the next oil change was going to cost me $ 185.00. I get it changed 100% synthetic for half that price and they check and refill my fluids. Free. You check things like ball joints and other items that don’t need to be checked on a vehicle with 40,000 miles. I am not a mechanic, but I do have some mechanical sense. I was shocked to see at 60,000 miles you change the break fluid. The only vehicle that I have ever heard that that the break fluid is changed is a Corvette. A Lexus IS not a Corvette. The only reason I think you are performing all this extra work is to cover your overhead. Maybe I shouldn’t have bought a Lexus because maybe most owners don’t mind what they pay for service. I do!!!
