Had an appointment for service and tire rotation and was told that the power steering fluid smelled burnt and did I want the system cleaned and fluid replaced. I asked when this was supposed to be done and told that the power steering fluid smelled burnt and did I want the system cleaned and fluid replaced. I asked when this was supposed to be done and was told around 50 thousand miles and my Civic had 88 thousand miles on it. So my bill was $80 more that I expected.Also I change oil every three thousand miles and ask the guys to put that on the reminder sticker but the last three time that has not happened. We own two Honda automobiles and the service department at Don Ayres is the textbook example of outstanding customer service. All the service people there are very friendly and helpful. I am especially pleased with the service adviser Doug Settle, however they are all excellent. Just as important is that their work is first-rate. They have always correctly diagnosed and fixed problems the first time. I never feel they are trying to rip me off. In fact sometimes they will bring to my attention a problem that does not need to be repaired immediately, but rather should just be monitored. In other words they don't recommend to get something fixed right away unless it is absolutely necessary. We could not be any more happier with the service department and would recommend them to anyone. We will keep buying Hondas and getting them serviced at Don Ayres. More

My husband and I have owned Hondas since 1981 and Don Ayres Honda has been our dealer and service provider. We've always received excellent service. We have always been greeted with a smile; sometimes even with our door being opened for us. Numerous times our vehicle problem was fixed right in the bay w/o cost. The staff seems quite knowledable about with our door being opened for us. Numerous times our vehicle problem was fixed right in the bay w/o cost. The staff seems quite knowledable about problems shared and possible solutions. It also helps to be asked about a car wash and we often are. In all the many years that we have brought our vehicles to the service center we can count on less than one hand problems with the service. We actually look forward to bringing our car in and have not found another dealer's service center to be that friendly and helpful. Please keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These men are wonderful! They have always gone out of their way to make sure that I am happy with my Hondas. I have purchased 4 HOndas at Don Ayres. I was ready to give back my 2007 Accord due to a noise their way to make sure that I am happy with my Hondas. I have purchased 4 HOndas at Don Ayres. I was ready to give back my 2007 Accord due to a noise in the front drivers side window that was really bothering me. Doug spent time figuring out where the noise was coming from and fixed it! He even worked me in to get it fixed before I took a trip....in his words "so I wouldn't have to hear it on the drive". That is true customer service with care! I can't say enough about the service I have gotten from Doug and the rest of the men there. I would never go any place else in Fort Wayne! I'm moving to Iowa in July 2011 and I am concerned about what kind of service I will get there. I may come back here for some of it when I visit family here. More
