Over 200 dollars later the problem wasn't fixed and the car did the same thing again. I took it to a small shop around the corner from my house and they confirmed my supsicion that the alternator was bad. Their mechanic took a picture of the cracked and burnt alternator DeNooyer should have seen if they bothered to even look. This was obvious, not some mysterious electrical glitch. It's not the first time this kind of thing has happened with them, but it's the worst time. I drive this car 40 miles one way to work on route 7. I don't know what went wrong, but I just can't trust DeNooyer to do the right thing for me or my family any more, and I won't risk our lives. More
