I had new tires installed in November. Less than a month later I had a flat and contacted Spitzer to replace the flat. I worked with Elvis. Formal Complaint Regarding Recall Service and Unprofessional Conduct I have been a loyal customer of this dealership for many years, which makes this experience especially disappointing. I had Unprofessional Conduct I have been a loyal customer of this dealership for many years, which makes this experience especially disappointing. I had an appointment for a recall repair last week. I dropped my car off at 8:00 a.m. and did not receive any updates throughout the day, which is unusual based on my past experiences. Around 2:00 p.m., I called to check on the status. I was told the supervisor was busy and that my car was being worked on, but the response was given in a dismissive and unprofessional manner. No one returned my call. I called again around 4:00 p.m. and spoke with Elvis, who was extremely unprofessional and spoke to me disrespectfully. At the end of the call, he said I could pick up my car. When I arrived, it was already closing time. I politely asked what had been done to my car and what had not. At that point, Adam came over and explained the situation professionally. However, once I left and started my car, the same issue was still present, meaning the recall repair was clearly not completed, even though the paperwork stated that it was. Since I was busy the next two days, I asked my husband to call on my behalf the following day and send pictures of the issue. No one returned our calls for four days. Without our knowledge or consent, an appointment was scheduled 10 days later, on a date when I was not even in town. When I called to cancel that appointment and asked if an earlier date was available—since the issue had never been fixed—I was again spoken to in a rude and dismissive manner. The appointment was never rescheduled, and the original appointment was never canceled, despite my request. I continued receiving messages about this unwanted appointment. When I called again to ask why it had not been canceled or rescheduled, I was treated rudely once more and told that Elvis did not have time to talk, even though I had not asked to speak with him. At this point, my main concern is simple: My car has a recall issue that was not fixed, yet the paperwork states that it was. Additionally, the lack of communication and repeated unprofessional behavior is unacceptable. I am requesting: A proper recall repair completed as soon as possible Clear and respectful communication A review of the conduct of the employees involved I expect better service from a dealership I have trusted for many years.
