I live in the Charleston area, and either I couldn't find what I was looking for, or just did not connect with the people I spoke with. Saw Herlong Ford while browsing AutoTrader. Went directly to their website and was impressed with the selection of F150s and the quality of their website. Great pics of their inventory, and actual stickers for their inventory were VERY helpful. I called to speak with someone about availability of inventory and spoke with a young lady named Amber. Very polite and interested in getting me to the right person. That person was Fred Munns. Truly one of most knowledgeable, down to earth people I have conversed with in quite a while. We just clicked. I am a DETAIL person, so I feel like I could easily have worn Fred out. Completely patient with me. I called back several times with more questions, and when told he was with other customers, each time, I received a callback exactly when I was told he would. We made a deal. At closing, I met Meryl Breazeale, the business manager. Same story....patient, attentive, and no pressure at all. My wife and I do not recall being excited about the car-buying process until now. One of the wonderful things about working with people from the "country"....good southern hospitality and everyone we met there whether part of our transaction or not offered just that. They say "cars are cheaper in the country just like eggs"...would say my new Super Duty F-250 was a great deal with the rebates Ford offered and the selling price they offered.
