Purchase of Lincoln Aviator My wife and I were overjoyed to see the Aviator return to the Lincoln line of automobiles for the 2020 model year. Our 2014 Ford Escape had served us My wife and I were overjoyed to see the Aviator return to the Lincoln line of automobiles for the 2020 model year. Our 2014 Ford Escape had served us well but we wanted something a bit larger and with a better ride and personal comfort. We started with the "Build and Price" function on the web site and stumbled a bit when choosing options to leave out the panoramic sunroof. In the end, that was not possible so we sucked it up and accepted we would be stuck with it. There was nothing the Rizza team could do, it was just the way Ford made it happen. After making all our selections we contacted the Lincoln dealer in Bourbonnais where we were really treated as just another number. Via the magic of the internet, we were connected with Miles Misek who put together our wishes with a price that even beat our planned "X Plan" price. That cinched it and he connected us with George Kraft who placed the order. Somewhere in the order process, we ran into "balance out" issues with the paint. Our chosen blue had been discontinued so we had to select something else. We settled on the Burgundy Metalic, which had an upcharge. Ford was unwilling to eat the extra cost though George requested it. Then we waited for the COVID issues to subside and production to ramp up again. Another couple of weeks George emailed us that the car was in and 'when would we like to take delivery?' We were there a couple of days later. While we dealt with what felt like endless paperwork, the Rizza team cleaned all of our personal items out of the Escape and moved them to the Aviator. Roosevelt Sturkey completed the final paperwork With less than 200 miles, it's hard to say much more about the car than it's beautiful, loaded with things to learn (videos are helpful). We're totally satisfied with the ride and comfort. More

The dealership had a multitude of new and used cars. The salesmen are very knowledgeable and professional. My salesman George was the ABSOLUTE BEST salesmen that I have EVER dealt with in my ENTIRE life! He salesmen are very knowledgeable and professional. My salesman George was the ABSOLUTE BEST salesmen that I have EVER dealt with in my ENTIRE life! He explained EVERYTHING to me about my car! He even connected my phone to my car before I left! USED CAR BUYER- BEWARE I found Rizza Ford searching online for a particular hard to find vehicle a Lexus IS250 AWD. I contacted the dealership spoke to the salesman about th I found Rizza Ford searching online for a particular hard to find vehicle a Lexus IS250 AWD. I contacted the dealership spoke to the salesman about the car to be honest I thought the price was high although this is a hard to find car and possibly they had to invest to replace tires, brakes, oil change, etc.. The salesman assured me that "Rizza Ford only puts QUALITY CARS on the lot for sale". He said, "We have a reputation to protect and we DO NOT sell anything that does not meet quality standards". So I drove down from Michigan trusting the reviews even on "Cars dot Com" that this was a reputable sales department and dealership. Upon arriving and looking over the car it look good and the salesmen said previously, "We only sell quality" so I sat down to sign paperwork and was presented with a "Sold As-Is - Nothing Due" Paper to sign-this should have been the RED FLAG - But I trusted them “REMEMBER - Quality only”. Upon driving back to Michigan at highway speeds I heard a noise from the drive train found out later it was because all four tires were a different brand from each other. I started to think to myself I know I paid higher than Blue Book for this vehicle at time of sale and would have thought they would have looked at tires... Well my fault for not looking at the tires particularly at time of sale. Two months and 3,000 miles later I hear a noise from the rear brakes I thought, Surely it could not need brakes must be a stone or stick in the wheel. Well upon inspection from a friend I found out it not only had metal to metal rear brake pads it also needed front brake pads and rotors... WAIT, yes you are reading this right 3000 miles later it needs front and rear brake pads and rotors because the pads wore into the rotors. So I called the dealership and the salesman was off so I asked to speak to Management and he said, "The salesman needs to handle this and he is off today". Seriously? You're his manager, your in-charge! He replied, "Well I am off tomorrow, but I will leave a message for your salesman and the other manager". Great Customer Service there! I called two days later because no one called me and spoke too the salesman who said, "I am sorry you should have inspected the car before you purchased it". WHAT? Wait you told me, "Joe Rizza only sells Quality cars on its Used Car Lot". I get that I should have inspected the tires, but inspect the brake pads, remove the Wheels on the lot to look at the brake pads? Is this guy NUTS? I explained I spent $501.00 for repairs to front and rear brakes and that I wanted to be reimbursed for only half the repair ($250.00 - Reasonable I thought) the reply back was.. "We are willing to give you $150.00 only". Needless to say, I did not take it I told them It was a principle thing and I did not need the money, could not take it in good conscience since I knew I was going to tell the World not to buy a used car from Joe Rizza Ford. So the Moral of the Story to YOU is: BUYER BEWARE If you are to purchase a used car from Joe Rizza Ford - PLEASE take it to another shop you trust and have them inspect it top to bottom, front to back, Inside and Out! - DO NOT Ever TRUST what Joe RIZZA Sales department says to you! I personally would never ever purchase a car here even if it was the only car like it on the planet! For $250.00 they could have made a customer happier, but they chose MONEY over Customer Service. #EpicFail They say, "Customer Service is their priority" - Do Not believe that LIE More
