I paid about $200. 00 to be told what was wrong with the car. The office was great. They kind of fixed the fender by pushing it back in place but did not use anything to 00 to be told what was wrong with the car. The office was great. They kind of fixed the fender by pushing it back in place but did not use anything to secure it. I will be going to another mechanic because I was told by VW it would be $800.00 to fix. My mechanic told me no more than $$400.00 to fix. Thank you More

I recently had an issue with the spare tire on my VW Touareg while travelling and called this dealer and was encouraged to come in to solve my problem. The Service Department sluffed me off to Parts who Touareg while travelling and called this dealer and was encouraged to come in to solve my problem. The Service Department sluffed me off to Parts who said I probably need a new spare which would cost $450 and be available in 3-4 days. However, Parts told me that Service might be able to repair the tire and directed me back to Service. Service then told me these spares are not repairable (they would not even look at the spare) and I would need a new one. I left without any resolution. Upon completing my trip I went to my local tire dealer and was able to repair my spare for $30. Volkswagen of Salem was no help whatsoever and a complete waste of my time. More
