Thai is my second BMW and I have been going to Ferman for a few years for service. It just seems lately there is always some issue . I have been sent a text and email twice this year that my car was schedule a few years for service. It just seems lately there is always some issue . I have been sent a text and email twice this year that my car was scheduled for a service, only to take time out of my morning and show up to find out that they have no idea why I was sent an appointment. The most recent service I was getting all 4 tires replaced and my service advisor told me that I could finally get the parts for my recall. She made an appointment for the following week and made a rental car reservation. I show up and go to get my rental car. Now I drive a 7 series, a big car bc I don’t like small cars, I haven’t had a small car since 1998. That particular morning happened to be when I drop off food at a charity I volunteer for. So when the guy gave me 3 series, I was not happy at all! Fortunately it all fit in the small car ( last recall I was given a 5 series so that was the size car I was expecting with all the stuff I had in my car). On day two in the afternoon I was told my car was ready bc they couldn’t do the recall after all. I couldn’t get back to the dealership until the next day. The whole rental car situation could have been avoided if I had just had the tires done. Later that day I got a text seeing if I enjoyed my service visit and I responded “ Not so much!” No one called to ask my why … I am seriously considering driving to st pete to service my car from now on bc I have wasted several mornings at Ferman because of “ mistakes” on their part. It was easy to schedule my service appointment. I was greeted warmly upon arrival. The staff was great and explained everything that was needed. My car was ready when promised. The sales staff is great (Sara and Mary Jo) but the finance manager and service staff is not. I feel there is dishonesty when getting the car serviced in that they always seem to find other issues and finance manager and service staff is not. I feel there is dishonesty when getting the car serviced in that they always seem to find other issues and upsell unneeded repairs. The finance mgr did not give us two $500 rebates. Granted we did not pay close enough attention when signing the financial docs but he clearly took advantage of that. More
