I had visited a few different dealers in my search for the right Toy Hauler for me. I was enroute to a dealer when I passed Dodd's RV dealership and made the u-turn to check them out. Tina Dew was the fir the right Toy Hauler for me. I was enroute to a dealer when I passed Dodd's RV dealership and made the u-turn to check them out. Tina Dew was the firest person I met entering the lot and she impressed me because she wanted to know what I needed. Once I explained what I was searching for, she took me through a number of toy haulers and was very patient with me on my search. What impressed me was her desire. For me to get what I wanted, not try to sell me something I didn't want. Everyone I dealt with was helpful whether it was sales, finance, set-up or parts! What a great experience. More

We have been looking at travel trailers for over a year, and frequented several dealer in the State of Virginia. We found Dodd RV and met Greg, a courteous, low pressure, customer focused salesman. Greg asked us what we were looking for and a price point. After some discussion, he took us around the lot and showed us only what we were interested in. There was no,"I know this is what you said, but you need to see this" type of sales push. We were encouraged to look at each of them closely and more than once to be sure that construction, features and style were what we wanted. After we found the Travel Trailer that we determined met our style and needs, Greg took us to see Mike, and told him exactly what we had talked about. Mike sat down with us and went over price and financing options. We sealed the deal and are now the pound owners of a new A Prime Time Avenger 32fRES TT. A week later on a rainy Saturday, we arrived at the dealership to pick up the unit; Jamie had all the paper work ready to sign and made the process efficient and painless. Amanda gave us a great tour of the parts dept explaining what we would need and how Dodd RV wiould help us. After that we were brought out to the service area for our orientation. They moved our TT inside due to the weather. Ricky was ready for us and took us us through the trailer from hitch to bumper. He explained everything in great detail and answered all of our questions; my wife and I are very detail oriented were very surprised at the thoroughness of the orientation and level of service that Dodd and their stellar staff gave us from front to back. It was extremely pleasurable to deal with such a low pressure, family oriented group of professionals. More

During our experience there was an issue that caught them by surprise, but the team made sure our first camping trip was one that provided many found memories going as far as letting us use one of their trucks to tow our new camper to its first outing with us. Where else can you get this kind of dedication to customer service. Jammie and his team have made lifelong customers of my wife and I, and I can't imagine buying a camper or camping accessories from anyone else. We purchased a beautiful 2011 Keystone Passport 245RB from Dodd RV today. We had a very positive experience with all of their staff -- sales, administrative, parts, and service. Everyone was so friendly and anxious to be sure that we were satisfied not just with our "new" camper, but especially with their personal service. Our only "tense" moments were in sealing the final deal, and we were very satisfied with the outcome on that too! Each of our numerous questions from beginning to end were answered completely, professionally, and best of all...... patiently! Thanks, Dodd RV for going the extra mile in customer satisfaction. More

Had it not been for the fact that it took 5 days to get our trade in evaluated/inspected instead of the 4 hours they said it would take, which left us uncertain as to whether the deal we made was going to our trade in evaluated/inspected instead of the 4 hours they said it would take, which left us uncertain as to whether the deal we made was going to hold or not, we would have given the dealership a "great rating." We feel that the lack of communication during those five days was stressful and took some of the excitement out of buying a new RV. Ricky did an outstanding job going over our new travel trailer with us - he was awesome. Jamie was very thorough and patient in explaining all the paperwork to us. All in all it was a good experience. More

I was just killing some time and stopped at Dodd R.V. I spoke with Greg because our normal sales person Scott was in Richmond. Greg showed the Crusader and it matched our requirements perfectly. Greg knew the answers to all of my questions from weight to the new features like auto leveling, tank drain handles, and new axles. Scott came in the next day and just about finished the deal. We needed the camper in five days and he made it happen. No high pressure salesmanship, just straight talk. Mary and Pete were very knowledgeable and got us on our way. We are always made to feel like part of the Dodd family when dealing with Scott. We feel like the only customer he is dealing with because of his extremely prompt return of our calls and how quickly he makes things happen. Everyone at Dodd is friendly and customer oriented. We liked Dodd RV very much. They are very thorough with regard to sharing a packet of info on what maintenance you should perform on your RV to keep it in tip top shape...everyone we dealt with was very ni regard to sharing a packet of info on what maintenance you should perform on your RV to keep it in tip top shape...everyone we dealt with was very nice. When we arrived to complete the purchase of our RV it was found that the end cap of the unit (brand new) had faded badly and the motor in the awning was bad...plus a couple of other minor punch list issues. While disappointing to say the least, we have been assured that all of this will be fixed as soon as possible and we've had no indication other than their willingness to have everything taken care of as quickly as they can. Some things, such as ordered parts, outside vendor doing the paint work, etc. are beyond their control with regard to timeliness. I would like to update this rating once everything has been completed. All in all, it is our belief that Dodd goes to great lengths to insure customer satisfaction and to foster great relationships with them...there is an annual Dodd RV Rally at a local campground, they do monthly in-service training seminars that are free to attend. So, we while disappointed that our RV wasn't perfection at pick-up, we aren't concerned that it won't eventually be made right. More

Greg took the time over the phone to answer questions & was flexible with a meeting time to look at RVs. When meeting with Gregg he did not push us into purchasing or try to sway our decision in any way & was flexible with a meeting time to look at RVs. When meeting with Gregg he did not push us into purchasing or try to sway our decision in any way. He and Jamie both stay after hours to complete our purchase without rushing us or making us feel as though we were inconveniencing them. Jamie took the time and had everything in place and explained the many different "extras" to purchase for care of the RV but did not push us into purchasing anything of those extras ... allowing us to make the decision ourselves on what "extras" we felt were important or necessary to our needs. We highly recommend Dodd RV to anyone in the market for an RV. More
