On 2/12/21, I went to Empire Toyota in Huntington dealership, I had such a bad experience when I bought my car. Javier who was helping me with the deal he was nice we made a deal. At the end when Eve dealership, I had such a bad experience when I bought my car. Javier who was helping me with the deal he was nice we made a deal. At the end when Everything was set and done and the only thing left to do was sign my insurance papers a guy named Justin (who was not following CDC guidelines and was not wearing a mask) made a very racist comment towards my brother, father and I, as we were discussing certain things about the car and things i still needed such as mats and a second key to the vehicle in our native language. He made a comment saying “good night, go home, go home, have a good night, I don’t speak Spanish” It was a very unpleasant moment for all of us. Us as customers like every other race deserve to be treated with respect as it is not advertised that this specific location does not want to deal with Spanish speaking clients. Justin kept repeating this comment many times and when my brother tried to speak up and ask for the respect we deserve Justin came to close to my brother as if he was trying to get physical (STILL NOT WEARING A MASK). After I signed all my papers he stated “I’m not pendejo”. He definitely understood everything we were talking. I did not deserved to be treated this way when I’m make a thousands of dollars purchase. If this was the way he felt he should’ve said from the very beginning he did not want to make business with a different race other than his own. As we were walking out Justin, continued stating the same racist comments “Get out, go home, have a good night I don’t speak Spanish”. My brother returned the next morning and all we got was an apology from the other sales managers but not from Justin who felt had the right to mistreat us because we are a Hispanic More

After bouncing around between dealerships, and feeling pretty frustrated that I couldn't get into the Rav4 I wanted, I walked in to Empire Toyota and was met with such enthusiasm and proffesionalism. Jaime Coppiano the salesman was so outgoing, friendly, and made me feel very comfortable after learning that I had been completely frustrated with other dealerships. Leo Kwan the used cars manager took the time to explain to me some of the processes of the dealership, he met me with professionalism, and it was the experience of dealing with those two team members that made me come back to purchase the car.
