My experience at Albany Subaru was an example of excellence in service. The service department demonstrated integrity from the start and every step following. The initial problem, which they resol excellence in service. The service department demonstrated integrity from the start and every step following. The initial problem, which they resolved quickly, uncovered another issue that resulted in the need of monitoring which led to an extensive repair. They informed me that these repairs were covered by SOA's 5/60 warranty but the warranty was ending within weeks and we were traveling within a shorter period. They coordinated with SOA and moved this repair forward on the service calendar to be certain the repairs would be complete before the warranty ends and our travel started. Yet another problem surfaced that added to the repair. Again they accelerated an order for parts and the additional work. Because of this compounding repair I interfaced with several people over 3 weeks sorting out the problems, getting the best advice the best solution. Every person I met was exceptionally nice and considerate. Every person I met was single mindedly trying to help in resolve the problems. Simply put there is a culture of excellence and integrity in the Albany Service Center. You leave with more than a serviced car, which seems secondary to getting the experience and attention of a team of professionals that are really good at what they do. The thinks I like are that the staff are very friendly and helpful. When I complained that the charges were much more than was initially quoted, they adjusted it to my satisfaction. My concerns were that when I picked up my vehicle the electric window that had been working fine wasn't working. To their credit when I brought the vehicle back, the technician immediately fixed the window. The cost of the repair seemed high and the part that was replaced that cost nearly $1000 was not returned to me. I have been bringing my vehicle here for service since I first purchased it. I always have had my oil changed here since they do a multipoint inspection which I like. More
