We specifically took our car to this dealership because we own a Volkswagen, and these guys are supposed to be the experts. They did not solve the problem the first time, but charged us over $1,400. We had to have the car towed back to the dealership because it was still not driveable. They thought they fixed it the second time, but actually did not. When we brought the car back a third time and the real problem was diagnosed, we were charged another few hundred dollars for the part that should have been ordered in the first place. This was also over a span of roughly three weeks of this back and forth, and being down a car. The staff was nice, but didn’t seem to be treating this issue with any sense of urgency.

Thank you for your recent visits to our service center. I want to sincerely apologize that we were unable to complete the full repair during your first visit. The Touareg arrived with multiple malfunction DTCs that required separate diagnostic steps, and Simon approved only a portion of the repair knowing that there were remaining issues unresolved before picking the vehicle up from service.
When additional issues arose, our dealership covered the full cost of the second repair and the majority of the third repair, offering your family the option of having it completely funded by us or contributing a portion. Simon was directly involved in reviewing and approving each step, and we worked to complete the repairs promptly once the necessary parts arrived.
We feel the support we provided was fair—and, in fact, more accommodating than what is typically offered by most dealerships or independent repair facilities. That said, I understand your frustration and truly hope you will consider continuing to trust our service team given the way we worked to stand behind you and your vehicle.
