Thomascgentle, Thank you for speaking with our Service Manager, Joe Diss. We recognize and very much appreciate that you have been a very good customer of our organization for a very long time. We apologize for the initial misdiagnosis as we had no way of knowing at the time that the fuel pump had been recently replaced elsewhere, and, unfortunately, that shop damaged the o-ring gasket when installing the fuel pump, which caused the fuel pump to be inoperable. We are glad we have been able to resolve this concern and we look forward to assisting you with whatever is needed in the future. First, I appreciate Joe Diss calling me to follow up. I gave him 4 stars for listening and resolving the confusion, ie it was only the O ring that was an issue and not the fuel pump. Joe called and today I received reimbursement for the diagnostic test. He said I can bring my other car there for a free diagnostic. I would like to schedule this directly with Joe if possible. I am confused by this response though. I informed the service provider the original fuel pump was defective and replaced in March 2018 and even confirmed the part number. Are you saying the pinched O ring caused an inoperable fuel pump? It’s a good start but I have to see how things go with my other car before I edit my rating and regain the trust. I hope that things go well with my next service and I can post a revised review.

We take pride in caring for all of our clients BMW’s while they are in our possession, and we apologize if you feel this was not the case during your recent service visit. Our clean-up department uses fresh microfiber towels to wash all service vehicles, but unfortunately, black cars are often very unforgiving of hairline scratches under certain lighting conditions. With that said, we are glad to hear that our detail department was able to clean and polish your vehicle while you waited on Saturday and that you were very satisfied with the final outcome. You guys force me to take your advice or leave from your store without any service I’m really sorry to say that I was not satisfied you guys ignored me to fixed my car front hood couple chip instead of fix my issues you guys give touch up paint so I can fix my self still I do have that touch up pant I didn’t use it. I remember clearly that terrible experience you guys messed up my car and offered me $200 dollars to fixed my car from outside just let you know guys I’m not a rich person but I spend all my hardworking money to the cars last 12 years I trade in 6 cars all brand new cars. And also last year I spend $121,000 dollars only for cars so remember one thing when you guys offered me that money I was feeling so uncomfortable I was asking my self that time did I mean to them I need money so why they’re offering me to take $200 dollars check from them I dented that offer completely and told you guys I just need to fixed my car because your store employees messed up my car. You guys did over and and over buffer polish to my car that’s all just try to make my car shiny. I wish dealership owners can see my reviews and they can contact with me. Attention to the dealership owner for BMW Silver Spring. Note : I called to the dealership to check they can replace two tires and customer service person tell me yeah you can come to replace the tires and I request her to transfer to the parts department make sure to check the tires stock and parts department told me they’d have stock then I go over there at Silver Spring BMW and I park front of the service lane and go inside August 12th 2019 around 4:00PM talk to one of service advisor and he told me to see the service cashier desk I go over there and one of service advisor Kevin Pitamber he told me you can’t do your car service here because he was my previous car service advisor and he messed up my brand new 2018 340i xdrive I drop off my car for service because left side mirror when I used to close it makes some noise I explained to the service advisor his name is Kevin Pitamber then he called his dealership shop foreman he look at my car and tell me need change the mirror because of mirror motor was not good and my second concern was when start raining I can’t see the road from the driver side area It was very dangerous to drive my car I explain to the shop foreman and he bring some Paper towel he cleaned from inside that’s all then I go inside service advisor tell me he need to order the mirror I said ok then I got a loaner car and I request to the service advisor to wash my car he say okay he will do that and next day Service Advisor Kevin Pitamber he called me and he told me your car is ready for pickup but when i go to pickup my car I was completely shocked when I see my car It was completely disaster car wash department messed my full car all over front left side bumper dent under the headlight and passenger side door they hit with something maybe when they was open the door driver side door paint off door was looking so ugly and all over lots of deep scratches front hood and lots of swirl marks in my car paint, rear trunk spoiler area top roof all over side doors. I was really disappointed completely unhappy at that moment how come they make my brand new car so ugly then I called Kevin pitamber service advisor he came outside and I show him all over my car he says I’m really sorry your car was not like this he told me we will take care of your car but we’re extremely busy at this moment come back November 1st week, then few minutes later I called also service manager his name is Joe Diss I explained him he came outside to see my car and he told me his service advisor explained him everything, he also tell me to come back November 1st week so they will fixed my car then I take out my car from the dealership not only that after they installed the mirror my auto parking left side camera view doesn’t work anymore so when they call me November 1st week to drop off my car then I go to the dealership i called Kevin pitamber to the service lane just want show him left side mirror parking camera view doesn’t work and he tell me he will take care of that and also before I drop off my car last couple days was raining badly I couldn’t see front view very well because left side windshield glass was not clear at all I do have some videos and pictures how was the front windshield, then again I got a loaner car they took one week after one week later service advisor called me again and tell me your car is ready for pickup ok then I go over there to pickup my car I was not happy at all because they didn’t fixed all those scratches and also make me mad more because they repainted my car full bumper with out my permission and also when they open the bumper they made one more dent I show to the service manager Joe Diss explain him everything over again and again my car was not like that at all then he go inside bring yellow marker pen he put in circle marks to the service lane front of me if you guys pull the camera you will see that not only those circles other lots of place he didn’t circles because he tell me he will explain to bodyshop manager whatever conversation we have and he will explain everything to the bodyshop manager to check all over the car I find out also they made dent left rear tire upper side and he circle over there also he says he can’t see anything but he will tell bodyshop manager to fixed that area. Then he told me keep the rental car until we take care of your car at the same time he told me he will delivery my car maybe next day I said ok but they took 2 more weeks and I text service advisor couple times to check my car status he told me don’t rush to them I said ok as long you guys take care of my car I’m ok then couple days later service advisor call me and told me to pickup my car when I go to pickup my car they didn’t tell me or offer me to walk over the car just to see everything is okay or not when I pickup my car i was going from my work and also I have to go back to my work again when I pickup my car and come back to my work parking lot I saw my car front hood have some white chip marks instead of i go inside my work within 10 minutes i go back to the Silver Spring BMW I was xxxx busy at my work it was before thanksgiving day so I called to my manager and I tell him I’m going back to my car dealership instantly I go back to the dealership and I talked to the service advisor Kevin pitamber I was telling him my car front hood have some white chip marks I don’t know maybe those white stuff is compound but can you check he checked out little bit then called his manager Joe Diss he didn’t touch or look at that place he was completely trying to ignore me and I tell him also check the camera you will see that white marks or chip was over there not only that my previous visit I show him left rear tire side has dent and he circle that area previously he didn’t fixed that dent at all i tell him if you guys can check the camera my car front hood before o pickup my car that white chip marks was there 100% guarantee because I know my car was completely fresh and cleaned I have lots picture about my car before I drop off even though previous couple weeks I took so many pictures about my car I don’t see anything in my car at all. More funny thing is my car was over there 3 weeks but they didn’t fixed my car parking camera view error still showing the same problem. Now they fixed my car door big chip paint job now that paint is gone still they’re not taking care of my car last time when I go for tires they’re completely denied me to fix my tires issue it was nailed on my two tires, then I go back to the Rockville BMW they replaced two tires. •Now my big concern is to the Silver Spring BMW owns who will fixed my previous all those issues I do have all my videos and pictures since 1st day they messed my car from your store if you guys can’t solve the problems I don’t have any choice to hand over to the legal lawyer. •I wish I will get feedback from the owner as soon as possible. I was not happy at all 9 months ago whatever records you do have. And I’m not complaining anything new I do have videos and pictures all evidence same spot same place whatever paint you guys put in completely came out and looking my car so ugly. Your Silver Spring BMW store employees they messed up my car and you guys are not responsible for to fixed my car so unprofessional. Each and everyone ignores me when I go over there. I thought silver spring bmw owner will contact with me or someone else to take of the Pre-existing issue. I’m not claiming new scratches or dent I do have all old pictures and videos.
