Unparalleled Level of Service Joe Diss is the crown jewel of BMW of Silver Spring. I originally purchased my 2014 335i from another dealership, but have had most of my service performed at BMW of Silver Spring. If I had known then, what I know now, I would have definitely purchased at BMW of Silver Spring. Joe and his team have offered amazing service to me throughout my entire ownership. Recently I had an issue where I discovered that my headlight had been broken during regular maintenance. My vehicle had only been to three different BMW dealerships for service including BMW of Silver Spring so the damage must have occurred at a BMW facility. When I spoke to the service managers at the three facilities, two of them basically told me "tough luck buddy.", but Joe Diss really went to bat for me. Joe began by reviewing my entire service history to determine if BMW of Silver Spring had done any work on the passenger side of my vehicle (where the broken headlight resided). He assured me that if it were even remotely possible that they worked on that side of my vehicle, then Joe would replace the headlight no questions asked. Unfortunately, BMW of Silver Spring had only performed regular maintenance such as oil/filter changes and could not have broken my headlight. Joe understood what a tough position I was being placed in because my vehicle had only been serviced by BMW facilities, so he went the extra mile and put in a call to BMW corporate to explain the situation. BMW corporate agreed to pay $1k for the $1500 repair, further BMW of Silver Spring covered most of the remaining cost even though they were not at fault. Joe really cared about solving this issue to my complete satisfaction and put in the extra time and work to fix this situation that was likely caused AT A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP!!! I cannot say enough good things about Joe Diss or the amazing level of customer service he offers. BMW of Silver Spring is incredibly fortunate to have a treasure like Joe serving on their team; furthermore, BMW of North America is incredibly lucky to have folks like Joe representing the BMW brand on the front lines of vehicle ownership. I wish I had purchased this vehicle from BMW of Silver Spring, but rest assured, I will most definitely be purchasing my next BMW from BMW of Silver Spring and it's all thanks to the incredible customer service I have received from Joe Diss! More

Even whenever I came in at the 11th hour, right before closing he stayed patiently, going as far as to handle the financial talk. I’d recommend this place to anyone and would definitely go back. Best car buying experience ever!! I drove from Winchester VA to buy a BMW. Will not go to any other BMW dealer. These folks are straight up, no gimmicks, no pressure - just personabl I drove from Winchester VA to buy a BMW. Will not go to any other BMW dealer. These folks are straight up, no gimmicks, no pressure - just personable, professional. and knowledgeable people. Came in to buy a certified pre-owned car and wound up with a new one - our choice after considering the options that the sales rep laid out for us at our request. There was never any pressure to buy a vehicle that day and that is such a relief. Our sales rep was Max Moyer - go see this guy if you want a knowledgeable, courteous, hard working person to help you decide on your next car. Max is terrific. Between he and Steve Gluck we got a very competitive deal in the car that best fit our needs. As for the service department, suffice it to say they must be good if I'm willing to drive 115 miles one way to get a car maintained and serviced. Bought an 2012 X5 from BMW Silver Spring 6 years ago when we lived in Laurel and all the service at this dealer was outstanding. After moving to VA, I tried other dealers and their service departments are well below the standards of this dealer. More

Dealership messed up my vehicle after oil change:Brake flush Worst service ever. Took my car in for a routine oil change and dealership suggested a brake flush. Soon after leaving dealership my brake system and steering failed. Car is now inoperable and dealer will not admit to their error, stating that I must pay 5k to repair vehicle. Initially, they asked me to bring car back in to rectify the situation and now they are changing their tune. In addition, now they are saying car won’t even open. How do you go in for just an oil change with no mechanical complaints or issues to now having a completely inoperable vehicle and they are stating it’s the customers fault. Absolutely scam and disgusting. Tried to resolve issue with Service manager Joe Diss and Steve Gluck new and no mechanical knowledge GM who are in complete denial that this is the dealerships error. More
