Wv We are sorry this is still upsetting to you, however we’ve clearly demonstrated the current failure is completely unrelated to any of the work we performed. While your car was in for service in October 2016 and again in October 2017 we pointed out oil seepage that, both times, you choose not to have repaired. The oil seepage, over time, caused a drive belt to slip off of a pulley which caused the failure. As you know, our position was supported by an independent inspection by the Montgomery County Department of Consumer Affairs with you present. It is very unfortunate that your engine was damaged and now needs more extensive repairs. Had the damage been related to our repair, we would have assumed full responsibility.
