This past January I decided it was time to purchase a new vehicle. I had done research and decided upon a 2021 Chevrolet Colorado. I looked on Chevy.com and found a few out there at different dealerships. vehicle. I had done research and decided upon a 2021 Chevrolet Colorado. I looked on Chevy.com and found a few out there at different dealerships. I started by going to a couple dealerships to actually look at the truck and test drive it. I liked the look of the truck and how it performed. Initially, my experience at other dealerships did not go well. Salesmen were too busy to stop for a customer that had made an appointment to speak to a salesman. Salesmen kept getting diverted to do other projects while I was there. So I obviously did not want to purchase a vehicle from those dealerships. Next I thought I would save time and do some of the work over the phone. That didn’t go as I had hoped with most salesmen telling me to come down to talk in person. As my work schedule was hectic I wasn’t able to do that. This all changed when I called Colonial Chevrolet and spoke to Joe Pellegrini. I explained I was interested in a truck he had on the lot. I also explained that it was a bit of a drive for me and my work schedule didn’t leave me enough time to drive out and talk about the truck in person. Joe said that wouldn’t be a problem and answered all the questions I had over the phone. He even sat and discussed accessories I wanted to add to the truck before I picked it up and making sure that he knew the exact accessories I wanted for the truck. Joe even went as far as emailing me an itemized list of the truck price, incentives, accessories and document fees etc. so I knew exactly how much the vehicle would cost. I tried speaking to a couple of other salesmen from other dealerships to see if they had any better deals and either I had to go in person to talk about such things or they didn’t give me any better deals. So it was clear I was going to buy the truck Joe had for sale. The morning I got to the dealership Joe was right there welcoming me got me in and got all the paperwork signed. In the time it took him to walk me through all the features of the truck, the paperwork with the registry and insurance was completed and I was on my way. First thing the next morning I received a call from Joe wanting to know how the truck was for the first day and if I had any questions about it. I cannot say enough about Joe’s professionalism. He went above and beyond to work with me putting this deal together and I know the next time I am in the market to buy a vehicle Joe will be the salesman I will be going to see.
