Keeps on Disappointing Our overall experience with this Dealership has been awful. We finally got a sales person and a finance person we really liked but other than that, t Our overall experience with this Dealership has been awful. We finally got a sales person and a finance person we really liked but other than that, the rest of our customer service interactions and services have been very poor. The most recent thing that we've been dealing with is the cancellation of the service contract we bought. After calculating how much money we would be spending on scheduled maintenance vs the money we spent on the service contract $1500, we decided that it was way overpriced and not a smart purchase! It's a total money maker for the Dealership. We signed the papers to cancel the contract on March 20th. They said it would take 6 to 8 weeks to receive our money. We called a few times to check on the status and all they would say is it would take 6 to 8 weeks. I knew they were going to hold on to our money as long as they could. The most recent call we made we said we wanted to know the status. We were told they processed the refund on May 13th which was 1 week shy of the 8 weeks. I guess they figured if they waited a week before the 8 weeks, we would get our refund by May 20th. It is now the 23rd. If it was "supposedly" processed on the 13th, I'm not sure why we haven't received our refund. $1500 is a lot of money that they've kept. We're still waiting to hear from someone as to where our money is. Waiting until the last minute to process a $1500 refund is worse than poor customer service!!! I keep waiting for them to redeem themselves but so far they’ve failed. 5/24/17 We were told we were supposed to be called back on Monday with the status of our refund. We received no call. We called today and our call was transferred to at least 3 people and we never got to speak to anyone. We left a couple of messages and received no return call. We just called again and we finally got to speak to a person. We were told that the check that was "supposedly" processed on 5/13/17 was waiting to be signed. It's now May 24th. I've never seen such crappy customer service. Eleven days to have a check signed on a refund that we should already have. We are now going to sit in the lobby at the Dealership until we get our $1500. Also, do the math before buying one of these service contracts. They are a total rip off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More

He really does care that you get a vehicle that fits all your needs and is in your budget. That is very rare in the day in age. I got a brand new 2017 Mazda 3 and it is sweet and has a ton of features and technology. Garrett took the time to show me all the features and made sure I got everything I was looking for in my next vehicle. This is a gift for my wife who couldn't make it in tonight so Garrett set up an appointment for next week to show my wife all the features on her new car!! Wow!! Not to mention you get lifetime car washes and a 10 year/ 100,000 mile warranty. Thank you a 1,000 times to Garrett and Mazda of Elk Grove for always doing the right thing and then some!! My First Car Garrett was the absolute best, even before I even got to the dealership! Once I got to the dealership, Garrett made me feel taken care of. He not only had a vast knowledge of the Mazda I was going to buy, but also had a great personality that made me even more excited to make my new purchase. Given the fact that this is my first car and the CX3 having a lot of new technology, Garrett took the time to go over all the features and make sure that I understood everything! Each team member Garrett introduced me to at Elk Grove Mazda was friendly, helpful, and happy to answer any questions I had. I know that any time I need any help with my car Garrett or any other team member from Elk Grove will be very reliable. I couldn't of asked for a better experience! More

Back for Mazda #3 I wont go anywhere else! Long story short, I was in the market for another Mazda after mine was totaled in Nov and I was not happy with the car I purchased after the accident. Long story short, I was in the market for another Mazda after mine was totaled in Nov and I was not happy with the car I purchased after the accident. We came out on a whim just to browse to see what they had. Needless to say everything and everyone I came into contact with fell seamlessly in place. I did not plan on trading my car in but let me say! Jaik was NO PRESSURE and let me do all of my thinking I needed, he was really patient with me as I was going back and forth between two Mazdas I liked. I selected a CPO 2014 red Mazda6, I was extremely nervous because I have fairly new credit, and I had joked that one day I really did want to meet the owner John because I have been coming here for so long and I really just wanted to say thank you... Sure enough the owner John who was cool came shook my hand ect and we started the process. I ended up going from 13% financing on the car I traded in to 3.9%!!! YES!!! Steven was able to work his magic and get me THE RATE I WANTED too!!! I literally started to cry when he said my interest rate! Hard work does pay off! While we were going over all of the paperwork I asked really basic questions he took his time to explain everything too, I didn't feel in any way that I was being cheated or misled. I was really afraid I was going to wake up the next morning going what did i do?! But that was not the case at all. Jaik in sales walked us through everything, had the car detailed as if it was a new delivery car as mine is CPO, took time to explain everything I would need to know about the new car and set up my iPhone, Replaced the broken smart key with a new one and he even helped me take the things out of my old car *I wasn't planning on buying a car that day...* I could not have asked for a more picture perfect buying process. I did have to take the car back a few days later because a headlight burned out but Billy had me in and out in no time as usual with a friendly smile. John Driebe it was awesome meeting you during my purchase process, I could not have asked for a better experience from your team. Defiantly the best Mazda dealer in nor cal for sales and service keep up the good work! I am glad to be back!!! More

I like 45 minutes away and I'm pretty sure I pass 2 other mazda dealers. But what makes me want to keep coming back is the great service that I have received. Matt has taken care of my issues and troubles for about a year now. He wasn't just in it for his commission. Although important as it is part of his salary, he wasn't looking to just make another sale. For me it too about 5 months to decide which car to get. I did have an issue with it down the road, due to damage cause by the area I lived in, he was the one to help me again. His patience and way of understanding people is really impressive and hard to beat. If there is nothing in the mazda inventory that you like at least you'll be having a great time with the staff here at mazda of elk grove. Thank you for all your help and patience. More

A joy to deal with Third Time is a charm! As an out-of-state buyer who could not personally visit Northern California Mazda Dealerships, I did extensive research on t Third Time is a charm! As an out-of-state buyer who could not personally visit Northern California Mazda Dealerships, I did extensive research on them and eliminated any that didn't have great reviews on Yelp, Google, and Dealer Review. Those left I contacted by phone about buying a new 2016 Mazda Mx-5, which was just released and making its way to dealerships in dribs and drabs. Two other of the No. Cal Dealers promised me specific cars and then, after much e-mail correspondence with assurances by me that I had cash and would make an immediate purchase, and promises by them that the car was mine, either sold the car to someone else or informed me that the car did not have the specifications that I had told them that I wanted. Elk Grove Mazda provided me with one of the best car buying experiences I've had in fifty years of purchasing cars. It was all anyone could ask for. They identified a car that had been promised to them by Mazda that was exactly what I was looking for. It had not yet been manufactured so they kept me informed of its progress every step of the way, through the factory, to shipping, to arrival at port of entry, to their show room. Salesman Ratish Singh initially responded to my inquiry and informed me that the car I wanted was available and I followed up by dealing directly with Sales Manager Grant Salge. Both were very knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt in responding to my communications. They took a deposit from me, that the other dealers would not do, and honored their commitment. One of the things that really impressed me about Elk Grove Mazda was how knowledgeable their people were about the MX-5. I do extensive research about cars that I am prepared to buy and usually find that I know far more about the car than the salespeople do. Not so this time. When we arrived to pick up the car Ratish went over all of the extensive bells and whistles that the GT model has to be sure that we were familiar with how to operate them. The dealer had also made certain that the car was freshly detailed before we arrived. In addition to the wonderful buying experience, I should note that Elk Grove Mazda provides extra perks that other dealers do not: their own extended warranty on certain basic parts, life time free car washes at their own car wash, and some others that I can't recall. Out-of-State buyers should be aware that California DMV does not require a Manufacturers' Certificate of Origin (the equivalent of the initial title on a car) in order to register and title a car, so, unlike most States, the MCO does not come with the car but has to be ordered from Mazda once the dealer sells the car. It took us about seven days to get the MCO. Some States allow a temporary permit with just the Bill-of-Sale, check your State's requirements. More
