No Hastle/No Pressure Unlike other car dealers and dealerships I have dealt with in the past, I found that Dean Team Subaru in Ballwin was the best yet. My sales guy John Ostlund was attentive, helpful, reassuring and honest with me every step of the way. Through my test drives, all my emails and phone calls with questions, to ordering my vehicle and signing the paperwork he was happy to help and didn't make me feel dumb, or pressured in any way. Dustin Westhoff was a delight to work with on the financial part. Also a bit of a Dave Matthews Fan so that made me happy (41 payments). :) Dustin helped me understand the leasing process and that I was making a good decision, and again, no pressure and no fancy terms or lingo that was above me. He answered all my questions and was very reassuring. John and Dustin made me feel very comfortable and relaxed through the entire car leasing process. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a Subaru and although I got the Cross Trek and I LOVE IT, the loaner vehicle I had for 2 weeks, the loaded Outback is a HIGH recommendation. :) More

Great experience; Listened to exactly what I wanted. This is the first brand new car I have ever bought. John saw that I knew exactly what I wanted, (which was not your typical on-the-lot car, a manual This is the first brand new car I have ever bought. John saw that I knew exactly what I wanted, (which was not your typical on-the-lot car, a manual transmission base Impreza). He went right to work and was able to find a car that met the criteria, given that they didn't happen to have one on the lot. He didn't waste time trying to steer me towards something there that I didn't want. The dealer transfer was super-quick and hassle free. The finance process was also straight forward and no trouble at all. Thanks again! More

Love comes twice with this Subaru Dealership Bought our first Subaru Outback 4 years ago from John Ostlund and had superior service during the purchase and service. Little did we think that in a mere 4 years we would be back to buy yet another Subaru Outback to complete our family. We had a brand x car between,but we always wanted to drive the Subaru. So we took our "lil blue" in, received another great trade in with John Ostlund who help us find our new Subaru Outback. John is just the best to deal with. Straight talk, no games, just like dealing with an old friend. That treatment went on throughout the entire purchasing process. The other departments were finance and a gentleman from service who said hi to us while we were there. There were many others we should thank also. Too many to name. Just go see John Ostlund and he'll treat you right and introduce you to a super staff at Dean Team Subaru. More

Sold us an extended warranty for $1000 over retail. In December we purchased a 2016 outback Ltd from John Ostlund at Dean Team Subaru. It was an enjoyable experience. John was patient and informative and had a low pressure sale approach that we appreciated. We would certainly recommend John. After our purchase decision we dealt with Dustin Wethoff on financing. Dustin was friendly and made the loan process very easy.. He then talked to us about the Subaru extended warranty. He convinced us this would be a worthwhile purchase. We had not researched the Subaru extended warranty, but since we had just purchased a $30000 outback, we trusted we would be treated fairly. Apparently Dustin thought differently. We agreed to a price of a little over $2100 for the gold plan 7 year, 70000 miles and $100 deductibke.. A few weeks later I had a question on the warranty coverage and called Dustin for an answer I left three messages and never received a return call. I then went online to see if I could find an answer to my question. In researching this, I discovered that the same warranty we had paid $2100 was selling from other Subaru dealers for under $1100! Over a $1000 difference! Any person and dealership that would do this to a customer that had just purchased a new vehicle from them is not one I could recommend. More

John's quick phone call and subsequent informational e-mail responses to my initial online search for available vehicles helped to make me aware of his interest in making sure I got exactly what I was looking for. At the dealership, John was very interested in discussing the features of the car I had selected to take a look at and especially in providing insight on and examples of using some features that I initially thought might not be something I'd use. Rick was very helpful in explaining the usefulness of some extended warranty features that I had passed up on prior vehicle purchases because I hadn't really understood their value and the person I was working with didn't think it would be worth his time explaining further. Ricks explanations made sense to me and left me very satisfied that I had made a sound decision in adding them to my purchase. Overall this vehicle purchasing experience was the best I have ever had. More
