When they rotated my tires they over-torqued the lug nuts, spline drive type, massively, unbeknownst to me. When a well known tire shop in the area attempted to remove the wheels to check on an imbala nuts, spline drive type, massively, unbeknownst to me. When a well known tire shop in the area attempted to remove the wheels to check on an imbalance issue one nut broke and another twisted, but did not break. The remainder we left alone. I called Colonial and asked talk to the service manager, Jon Rydings, and was told he wouldn't be in until Monday, so I used the email feature of their website to leave a message. I received a text from Molly who said she would speak to him and that he would get back to me shortly. By the end of the day, I texted Molly to let her know that I had still heard nothing. She reiterated that she had made the team aware and that someone would call me shortly. I never heard anything. Since I've only been a service customer there for 20 years, I guess I'm not even entitled to the common courtesy of a reply. More

Throughout the repair process, communication was consistently poor. I repeatedly found myself having to chase down updates, request information that should have been proactively provided, and try to get a clear understanding of where things stood with a major repair. There was a noticeable lack of follow-up, transparency, and ownership throughout the process. When you trust a dealership with a significant repair like a transmission rebuild, you expect professionalism, communication, and confidence that your vehicle is being handled properly. Instead, I often felt like I was the one responsible for tracking down answers and getting updates. Unfortunately, the concerns continued after the vehicle was returned to me. Shortly after pickup, additional issues arose, and the vehicle is now back at the dealership. Once again, we are left waiting — waiting for communication, waiting for answers, and waiting for someone to take ownership of the situation. Problems can happen with any repair. What defines a quality service department is how they communicate and support their customers when those problems occur. In this situation, the lack of transparency, follow-through, and responsiveness has been the most frustrating part of the entire experience. A customer should not have to repeatedly chase a dealership for information after spending thousands of dollars and trusting them with a major repair. We are still waiting for a call and a clear explanation of what is happening with our vehicle. More

Would only return to a Ford dealership if was only a parts and installation that your company has made sure no other shop can repair! You price each job by the hours it says to do the job. Not the actual hours it takes to get done. That’s xxxxxxxx 🤬 More
