great customer service I was treated as as a great customer even though i have not been there in years.I would always try to go to a closer Ford dealer but not anymore. Check engine warning light The Service Representative was excellent, letting me know what was going on and next steps. Had to keep vehicle overnight for pressure test. However f The Service Representative was excellent, letting me know what was going on and next steps. Had to keep vehicle overnight for pressure test. However final determination was to run full system diagnostics and reset certain parameters on some warnings. As such was told since there was no actual repair made the dealership could not charge Ford Motor Company and I had to pay $129.99 instead of the $100 deductible as my certified warranty states. I did not argue this since SR stated he had appealed to his manager, who stated he had no choice in this. I have checked my warranty and it says nothing about such a situation. I was sent a survey by Ford and stated the above saying Ford should reimburse me for the extra charge which I feel is inappropriate and contrary to my warranty. This practice should be stated in the warranty OR the standard diagnostic fee set at $100 by Ford Motor Company for vehicles on such warranty. To me the $30 to Ford or any dealership, cannot be worth customer dissatisfaction. Either a credit on next visit or even a free oil change could be provided. I do want to state and be clear that the SR was very good in every aspect of his responsibilities. More
