I am writing this review to warn anyone considering doing business with Sloane Toyota. What happened to me was not a simple mistake — it was a pattern of negligence, dishonesty, and complete lack of ac doing business with Sloane Toyota. What happened to me was not a simple mistake — it was a pattern of negligence, dishonesty, and complete lack of accountability that put my safety at risk and caused me thousands of dollars in losses. After my lease ended, I went to purchase the car I had been driving for years. They ran my credit, submitted the financing, and I was fully approved. But after the approval came through, they abruptly refused to sell me the car and did not give me any option, explanation, or alternative. They simply dismissed me. During their inspection, they opened the hood and failed to secure it properly, yet still allowed me to drive the vehicle off the lot. The next day, while I was on the highway, the hood flew open at full speed, destroyed the windshield, and left the car undrivable. I had to call 911, and the vehicle was towed. This was an extremely dangerous situation that could have caused a serious accident. Instead of taking responsibility for their negligence, the dealership tried to shift all blame onto me. They constantly changed their repair estimates—from $4,000 to $5,000, then $8,000, and later I received a bill for over $10,000 for mileage and wear that did not match anything they had previously told me. Nothing was consistent, transparent, or honest. I provided documents, photos, and proof, yet I was met with contradictions, excuses, and misinformation at every step. At no point did they acknowledge the dangerous condition they created or the financial damage it caused me. My experience with this dealership was defined by: Dangerous negligence Contradictory information Unexpected charges Refusal to take responsibility Misleading and evasive behavior No transparency and no solutions Customers deserve honesty and safety — I received neither. I strongly urge anyone considering this dealership to think twice, get EVERYTHING in writing, and be extremely cautious. What happened to me should never happen to anyone. More
