I had a very frustrating experience with Toyota of Rockwall and feel it’s important to share. I brought my 2013 Tundra in for a check engine light and drivability issues. I was advised to replace t Rockwall and feel it’s important to share. I brought my 2013 Tundra in for a check engine light and drivability issues. I was advised to replace the air injection valve, which I approved and paid for. However, shortly after getting my truck back, the same issue returned, meaning the repair did not resolve the problem. After keeping my vehicle for an extended period, I was then told my catalytic converter needed to be replaced for around $6,000. When I asked for proof, I was only provided a scan showing the catalyst status as “incomplete,” not failed. Despite this, they still recommended the replacement and even suggested additional paid testing to confirm it. Concerned with the diagnosis, I took my truck to another mechanic. The issue was properly diagnosed and fixed for $1,130, without replacing the catalytic converter. My truck is now running perfectly. This experience raised serious concerns about the accuracy of their diagnostics and the recommendation of costly repairs without clear confirmation. I would strongly encourage anyone to get a second opinion before approving major repairs here. More

Everyone is extremely friendly, but every single time I go there is a problem with the actual service I receive on my vehicle. This time I was there for an oil change, but I specifically asked to have my windshield wiper fluid topped off because it was completely empty. The service record shows that it was checked and topped off, but after I left the dealership the light came back on. I stopped to check it and sure enough it was still completely empty. I had to purchase a bottle of fluid to put in there myself. It honestly makes me wonder what else was not actually checked! Also when I got back in my truck all of the contents of my glove box were dumped on the floor board. I am assuming they were looking for the lug nut key to rotate my tires, but they did not even put everything back in the glove box. Annoying! More
