She then insisted on making sure I knew the mats she was giving me was a gift, and they are not required to supply them to the customer. I know they were there when I test drove the car, so after a 35,000 purchase I think there should be car mats protecting my investment. NOT A GIFT. I started getting error messages and took the car back 3 times for repair for the same issue. Each time returning the car indicating it has been resolved, and showing me was was fixed/replaced/tightened up loose wires, etc. The 4th time I got the same error message I reached out to corporate, who sent me back to the same dealership for repair (did I mention the dealership is 45 min to 1 hr away??), and they returned it stating it was fixed, for a 4th time. SAME message pops up this week and I call corporate, who instructs me (the customer) to make an appointment at a Volvo dealership of my choice, bring it to them, call corporate back to let them know the date I scheduled it for, and I do all the leg work for a car that I believed was FUNCTIONAL at the time of purchase, and I have been doing nothing but running around trying to get it repaired. NOW corporate wants me to do their job, yet again, and inconvenience myself for a 5th time for THEIR MISTAKES! This is insanity but this experience alone will push me to a different car next time. Awful experience from the beginning and I am STILL fighting with them and my car is STILL not working properly.

It is the same concerns I had the first 5 visits, and it is still happening. I have time-stamped pictures of the error messages I received late last week (AFTER your valet service and 174 mile check) as well as being locked out in 9 degree weather with my elderly mother on Saturday, again - the car was not picking up the key fob and then all of the sudden, on the 51st push of the button (no change, pushing it exactly the same way), it worked - it just decided to let me in on the 51st push). The car has the SAME issues as I have been raising since purchase. I will not be bringing it back to the same service center that sold it to me, claim it was fixed 5 times already, and sent me on my way. If you are not able to figure it out, why have you not offered to take it to someone who can? Why do you keep fixing things that are not actually fixing the issues? If you are not capable, why have you not sent it to someone who is? Why do you keep telling me it is fixed when you are not sure (evidenced by the fact that not a single issue has actually been resolved, although you told me 5 times it is). This is the worst experience I have had purchasing a car and I hope my experience will help the next person decide where to purchase a vehicle. I was sold a broken car with no mats, although that is NOT what was presented to me.

Had you fixed it the first 4 times, like you said you did, I might trust a 5th visit to bring this to a close, but I have zero confidence in your 1) your ability to identify what is wrong with the car and 2) to be honest with me if you cannot. I believe you would fix another random thing and send it back to me, again, as you did the first 4 times, rather than just telling me you cannot find the problem and will need to find someone who can. I am not sure how this helps Volvo as a business, rather than just supplying the car that the customer believes they are purchasing, but I will not be letting this go until I have the car I purchased (fully functional and not a security concern since I am being locked out of my own car).
