As discussed, our records indicate that all recommended service items related to the start/stop concern were accurately documented. Unfortunately, it appears there was a communication breakdown that prevented this information from being clearly conveyed or received. We appreciate the opportunity to re-inspect your vehicle at no charge, the same day, and regret that you decided to proceed with service elsewhere. It was nice to have the service manager finally give a call back after a few days of waiting. As I told him I took my car to another dealer and they said they would never replace only the battery and not the remote battery as it will drain the remote batter if not replaced at the same time. Also as I discussed with you manager all of the other dealerships I deal with have a system to track what was approved via texted. Your team has no system. I find it really strange that we brought the car in for the specific warning sign related to the relay battery issue and instead of getting it fixed we opted for $2K of other work including a new battery (that we didn't need). Your service team is very weak. Not to mention the last time we had an appointment and I had to call 48 hours later only to find out the car had not been inspected yet. No need for any other communication, but after buying 4 vehicles from your dealership I will no longer be coming back.
