Herb Gordon Subaru supported me while in the midst of my very own “series of unfortunate events” and I can’t thank them enough! Driving in downtown Bethesda, my power steering suddenly went out and then m very own “series of unfortunate events” and I can’t thank them enough! Driving in downtown Bethesda, my power steering suddenly went out and then my battery died. After being towed to Herb Gordon Subaru, I was introduced to Vitaliy, a phenomenal service advisor. Together both he and Greg kept me informed about the costs of the parts/services that my car needed. That day they had me in a loaner car and I was able to continue my appointments— a realtor needs their car! I asked very bluntly if I should purchase a new car or if my Outback with only 90k miles would continue to drive well after said repairs. I felt confident in their guidance to continue with repairs. My brakes were an issue and after trying several options, the part needed was going to cost close to another $1000 I was distraught. Subaru worked with me and helped to offset some of the costs of the part needed...I was already spending a chunk of $$ and they realized my situation. They treated me with so much respect and I felt truly guided in making my decisions. Fast forward to the day I’m going to pick up my car and return the loaner — I got rear ended in the LOANER car!! I felt so bad, even though it wasn’t my fault, I still felt like I wrecked a brand new car that they loaned and was mortified. Ken, the service manager called to check on me while I was still at the scene and reassured me that everything was okay and accidents happen. Laurie also helped to assuage my concerns by making the insurance accident reporting effortless. I can’t say enough about the amazing folks at Herb Gordon Subaru. I felt cared for, understood, and appreciated as a customer. I’ve always known I’d be a lifelong Subaru driver, but I won’t ever take my car or buy another car from anyone but the incredible folks at Herb Gordon! For my last Vehicle Service, I dealt with Rodney Rogers and he took care of all of my requests and made sure that my vehicle was washed and serviced in a timely manner. Came in to the dealer as the airbag light was on and Ac was not blowing enough cool air.
