I am on my 5th Mazda. But this was my best experience since my first new car, a Dodge Nitro I bought many years ago. The salesman at that dealership told me that he doesn’t play any games and he didn’t. since my first new car, a Dodge Nitro I bought many years ago. The salesman at that dealership told me that he doesn’t play any games and he didn’t. He just helped me buy the car I wanted. Since then, I switched to Mazdas and I’ve had some good and some bad experiences with some dealerships. I hadn’t tried Wantagh before. Not sure why. Their service department handled a recall on my CX-5 for the headlights and did a great job. Quick, courteous, and didn’t try to sell me anything. Maybe it’s because it’s easy to pass it by when driving over the Wantagh Pkwy on Sunrise Hwy if you’re not paying attention. In any case, I did stop there on the way home after stopping at a different Mazda dealership that left me feeling like I wouldn’t buy a car during the pandemic because they just really acted like they didn’t care. I pulled up and got out of the car and started talking to a salesman who was standing outside. He looked familiar and within a few seconds, I asked him if he had worked at the dealership where I bought my Nitro. It was him, Billy Mulvey, the guy who sold me my first new car. I told him about some of my experiences since then and he said “We don’t do any of that here. It’s a family owned business and everyone here is honest. That’s why the staff here has been here for most of their careers.” Billy gave me a price on my CX-9 Carbon Edition and that was it. No one even attempted to play any games and Billy was a perfect salesperson….again! I am already trying to talk my niece into checking out a Mazda in her search for a new car as I think Mazda is the best bang for your buck and the best ride out there in an affordable car. Obviously, having a dealership you can trust makes a big difference. Thanks Billy and everyone there at Wantagh Mazda!! You guys are great! More

Victor from Wantagh Mazda was extremely helpful! He did not pressure us at all and the whole process was very relaxed. Everything was done for us at the dealer, there was no need to run anywhere else for f not pressure us at all and the whole process was very relaxed. Everything was done for us at the dealer, there was no need to run anywhere else for financing, insurance etc. Kenny helped us find the best rate for financing our car, better than we were able to find ourselves! In addition to Victor and Kenny, everyone there was very nice and helpful, and it felt like family.
