Gave me loaner car with terrible tires and now I've been stuck in the snow. Technician overfilled car with oil and now they had to replace a catalytic converter on a brand new car. Highly HIGHLY upset and looking for SERIOUS compensation. Had to get towed out of parking spot in snow costing me money that I wouldn't have to spend if I had my truck. More

2017 Toyota Sienna XLE AWD. Routine oil changes, differential service, coolant and transmission fluids. Coolant switched recently about 100K as preventative to corrosion and oth Routine oil changes, differential service, coolant and transmission fluids. Coolant switched recently about 100K as preventative to corrosion and other risks. Recent 110K oil (done every 5K) service rep claims both head gaskets bad. Mechanic didn’t write of a diagnosis of how it was discovered. Owner didn’t state any issues or direct any tests done indicating a problem. No smells of sweet coolant or visible coolant leaks in oil (milky) nor any deficiencies in coolant reservoir noted by owner. Mechanic didn’t write synopsis or prognosis of alleged head gasket issue. Vehicle exhibits normal operating temps, normal mpg, and no symptoms of misfire or degraded performance. Service department made two attempted phone calls to owner during vehicle time in service for oil with no messages left. Research done by owner on 3.5L Toyota engine. Known issues pre-2016 of head gasket vulnerabilities, but changes to head gasket design implemented by Toyota. Additional research conducted for TSB’s or reports of 2GR-FKS with negative findings. Vehicle continues to operate normally and will be schedule for a 2nd opinion at a local NAPA auto repair center. Dealer contacted owner to ask about service. Owner expressed concern over lack of prognosis and how issue was found and what methods were used. Dealer customer service stated that they agreed with concern and would address questions and owner would receive a phone call. Owner has waited 24hrs with no call received. Service department persisted a sale of a maintenance packet with tire rotation. When owner stated that tires purchased at Heiser are rotated free and value not their Service rep stated increase in future oil prices but could not give amount of increase or when. Owner had heard same on previous two oil changes and has drawn a conclusion that it’s a tactic to scare consumers. Oil may increase but owner willing to challenge the hypothesis. Tires were offered for replacement and rep stated that they provide 2yr hazard warranty. Owner countered with Costco for a price match and rep stated no hazard warranty at Costco which was not true. Owner conducted quick research and found Costco to have a 5 year warranty on hazard for tires. Rep stated that this must be new, the quick response and denial show guilt by omissions. Rep asked owner when that changed and owner responded that he didn’t know. This is another indicator of falsifying testimony and gas lighting. Owner will send oil sample to laboratory for analysis to confirm oil is to spec and to test for coolant in oil. Final note. Tires were inflated over the manufacturer specified psi. Ten pounds over what the manufacturers sticker inside the door says. Attention to detail in tires could result in tires overheating and reaching excessive pressures and blow out. Very dangerous. More
