Brake Issue I had to take our new 2019 Accent (that only has about 550 miles on it) in for service because we heard a noise when applying the brakes. After about I had to take our new 2019 Accent (that only has about 550 miles on it) in for service because we heard a noise when applying the brakes. After about an hour, my service advisor came out to tell me that the service tech couldn't reproduce the sound.The tech said he did a complete inspection of the braking system and couldn't see a problem.She asked if I wanted to go for a ride with the tech, which I agreed to. After I produced the problem during our drive, he took it back in to the service garage. A little while later the service advisor informed me that the techs found hot spots on the rotors and that they were going to resurface them. I asked why not just replace them since the car was brand new, and was told that Hyundai would not accept them if they didn't try the resurfacing first. I was given a rental car so I didn't have to hang around and wait. I picked the car up and was told they resurfaced the rotors and did a service check in which they check all the fluid levels and top them off. I checked my fluids when I got home and saw that the reservoir for the windshield wiper fluid was about half full. Don't tell me you did a check, when you really didn't. I really don't believe anything you guys tell me that you found or did to my car. That is why I stopped coming to you for service years ago. More
