My rating has no bearing on Lexi, but on your entire process. Vehicle had a 9am appointment for PMs and oil change. Should've taken about 45 min tops. Nearly 2 hours later I finally got out of the dea process. Vehicle had a 9am appointment for PMs and oil change. Should've taken about 45 min tops. I have never had any problems with this dealership and I’m confident that if there were it would be taken care of. I took it to their service center and they say the issue is that my fuel pump and gas tank are so rusted that vapor was leaking. Apparently the 128 point inspection that they assured it went through before I purchased it didn't cover that and that they must have "missed" noticing the fuel pump and gas tank being so rusted. The also told me all the additional warranties I had purchased didn't cover these parts and I would have to pay $3,600 to have them replaced (again just 3 weeks after purchasing the vehicle). When the person who took my vehicle in to be looked at started complaining that they had sold me a lemon they quickly got a manager and after reviewing the issue (and taking down the Internet link to their recommendations) they said that only the fuel pump needed to be replaced and they would cover it. I would still be praising them if not that two days after getting the vehicle back I tried filling the gas tank and the station's pump kept shutting off as if my tank was full. I took my vehicle back (I dropped it off on a Sunday) and after finally being able to get a hold of my service advisor on Tuesday (cause usually I call and get put on hold for five to ten minutes before being told that anyone i try to get a hold of there is busy and will call me back which usually did not happen) and was told that now the issue is the gas tank is so rusted that it won't vent vapor with new fuel pump on it and that the pressure is causing the issues with trying to fill the tank and that now it will be $1,800 to fix and they would not budge when I complained even though they said they "understand my frustration". I asked multiple times to speak with a manager and was again put on hold and then told they would call me back and after two more days of this I decided to take my vehicle back and seek a second opinion More
