Horrifying. Beware of this major dealer Stingray Chevrolet Purchased a 2019 Chevrolet HD3500 from Stingray in February of 2019. The truck has an emissions filter issue. This part is under warranty according to Purchased a 2019 Chevrolet HD3500 from Stingray in February of 2019. The truck has an emissions filter issue. This part is under warranty according to the manual. I initially brought it to another dealership to get repaired since Stingray is over 60 miles away. I purchased my vehicle from Stingray because I trusted and believed in them and what they advertise. Once I needed service help with my truck, what I received was a 45-day wait in their service parking lot and a 30-day threat to remove my vehicle from their property. This is from John Whaley the General Manager of Stingray Chevrolet. My truck still sits there now. They wanted $3000 for this part and agreed with the other dealer that the part is not under warranty even though it CLEARLY states that it is in the manual. I filed a complaint with the State of Florida. Stingray is refusing to fix my truck whether I pay or not. I was abused and disrespected by most employees in the service department. The Director of Service Justin told me if I do not like waiting I can tow my truck. Well, apparently this is what I have to do. Why would I buy any vehicle from Stingray? My warranty was voided by GM becuse they claim I was idling too much. I have several trucks. So I was able to use other trucks and also had to buy another truck to prevent my business from losing revenue. I am glad this was not my only truck. If it was, I may have lost my home, business, and family due to financial stress. I was not offered a loaner and had to take an uber home. This was a humiliating and hurtful experience for me. At this point in time I am at the mercy of the State of Florida. I was promised the part was in transit over 10 days ago. I am devastated. I called Action News and spoke with Jackie. I am hoping she can help me. More

superior customer service Bill Sutton took care of me again , it’s great to deal with good communicators such as bill , it’s become a rarity these days. he understands your obj Bill Sutton took care of me again , it’s great to deal with good communicators such as bill , it’s become a rarity these days. he understands your objective and respects your time and keeps me posted with any evolving discoveries on my vehicle or allotted time that was estimated. i like the email check-in and Lisa Rice did great with scheduling also very little waits upon arrival - they get right to me to check me in , great waiting area - makes vehicle maintenance almost a pleasure. also i emailed a question and bill called me the next day with explanation, simple things but they don’t happen elsewhere as the devil is in the detail. i will never go back to the place in my neighborhood (tampa palms)- not even for a simple tire balance because everyone there moves so slow it’s like they are dead or on there cell phone it’s a joke and estimated times never even close. you have a greeter lady in the wait room and i’m just not fond of being bothered unless you have pertinent info but she was very nice and not overbearing and i like the fact she will check on my job if i ask, i just think she could achieve the same service without a bunch of questions but i will say she realized i didn’t want to be bothered and it’s nice she picked up on it - i noticed lots of folks appreciated her checking in with them, and many were chatty - i just wanted to work on my email and she sensed that so nothing negative about her just not my thing. great cookies btw! company car wheels fleet so i don’t look at pricing i’m all about service and wait area to do my computer work. More
