Advisor could care less I called up to Stingray to inquire about my passenger side mirror that was shattered and needed to be replaced. I spoke to Ricky and explained that my I called up to Stingray to inquire about my passenger side mirror that was shattered and needed to be replaced. I spoke to Ricky and explained that my side mirror was shattered and needed to be replaced. I asked how much the glass would cost to replace. He told me he couldn’t give me a price without looking at it. He explained that there could be more then just the glass that needed to be replaced. I said okay, I understood. I told him that I needed to bring my vehicle in for and oil change and asked if he would be able to take a look at then. He said yes, that would be fine. I explained what happened and what appeared to be wrong with it. I asked if there was anyway he could give me a price for a best and worst case scenario? He then sighed and put me on hold while he looked up prices. He came back and said anywhere from $125 for the glass/mirror to $750 for the entire mirror and casing to be replaced. I thanked him and he transferred me to make the appointment. When I arrived to the service department the day of my appointment I was greeted by Lisa. She was her normal happy cheerful self and showed me where Rickys desk was. He was busy finishing up with his customer. When It was my turn I got to the desk he was a bit occupied and even tried to have me sign for the previous customer paperwork. He asked me what I was having done and I told him oil change, tire rotation and my side mirror to be checked out. He said oh yeah. What did I quote you on the mirror? I told him $125 it said yeah that sounds about right. I explained that I was dropping it off and he said it was no problem he would call me when it was ready. Ricky called at about 12:20pm to let me know my car was ready. He wasn’t able to leave a message at the time. When I called back the phones just rang off the hook at about 12:30ish. I figured someone may have taken a lunch and there wasn’t anyone to answer the phones. I tried over the next couple of hours to reach someone and finally was able to leave a message on his voicemail around 230pm. At about 4pm I had still not heard from him. I called back and spoke to Lisa. I Explained that I was trying to reach Ricky. She then transferred me to him and he told me my vehicle was ready to be picked up. I had to ask about the mirror and that is he informed me the entire mirror/casing would have to be replaced. it would be $750. I said really? $750? Everything worked and the glass/mirror was what was just shattered. He said yes, there was a faulty clip that was broken and caused the entire thing to be replaced. I asked if there was anything at all that could be done besides that. He said No, that they are a certified GM service department and that they use all GM certified parts that’s why it was so expensive. Ricky told me that he would show me when I got there to pick it up. I was still dumb founded over the price. I asked if they could just replace the mirror and he said no. He told me that “off the record” I should look into after market body repair shop to get it done cheaper. He would show me what his was talking about when I came to pick up my vehicle. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, I came to where his desk was, and he told me to check in with cashier to pay for it that he would “meet me” at my car. I went and paid for the oil change and tire rotation. Went out to my car, started it, and waited. While I waited, I noticed that the screen for the tire pressure was up and they didn’t fill the tires up with air because they were registering from 28psi to 31psi in each of the tires. Which is lower then the recommendation. I waited a little while longer. No one came out, so I just left. I went to Macco as Ricky suggested. We found that the only thing that needed replacing was the mirror and the bezel. Everything else was fine. Which ended up costing me $250. This was frustrating because I honestly believe that this could have been done at Sting Ray at the same time of my oil change and captured that additional money instead of sending me elsewhere because they wanted to charge me $750 or didn’t want to be bothered with it. I bought my vehicle from Stingray had a great experience, get all of my services for my vehicle done there at Stingray and never had this type of experience. Even when I had to leave my vehicle there for the multiple issues due to a recall. Maybe I just caught Ricky on a bad day or something but this definitely changed my perception of the service department that day. In the future, IF I come back, I will just be sure to ask for someone other then him. More

It was good!! The service was great very nice staff but one thing I notice it says on my papers that my tires were rotated and oil change and a multi point inspecti The service was great very nice staff but one thing I notice it says on my papers that my tires were rotated and oil change and a multi point inspection was done but my tires were not rotated and the inspections wasn’t done only oil change. I was in and out it took them like 10 minutes to change oil. More
