Mandi Davis was very pleasant and professional throughout my visit at Longo. She helped me use coupons and receive my AAA discount on applicable services. I was updated via text on service recommenda my visit at Longo. She helped me use coupons and receive my AAA discount on applicable services. I was updated via text on service recommendations and with my choices. I was walked through the new paperless system. It was nice to receive texts informing me of the approximate time my vehicle would be ready, as well as the estimated cost. The new "paperless" should not be forced on those challenged with electronics. Service Manager McGuire stated it would be no problem requesting printed receipt but observed cashier's were not coopera challenged with electronics. Again I left my appointment very disappointed! I received a call from Longo asking me to schedule a recall for my 2017 Rav4 for maintenance. When I arrived, the first thing they did was promoting me packages a call from Longo asking me to schedule a recall for my 2017 Rav4 for maintenance. When I arrived, the first thing they did was promoting me packages that I can buy and telling me its time to do alignment. I told them The reason why I was here, because someone called me about a free service maintenance checkout. Then the advisor told me its not free, I am being recall its because they need to check on my battery to see if it fits my car. ?? Im like ive been driving my car for 6 years and now you tell me the battery might not fit my car? Then he said, its okay I will not charge you for that. I mean why would you charge me for a not fitted battery when I purchased the car 6 years ago why didn't you tell me the battery might be a wrong fit? Then he continue to promote the packages. I had to tell him multiple times that I am not here to change or align tires. I asked him to check on the tires because over a year ago, they patched a tired for me because it had a nail. So he said ok, he will check the fluid and the tires. I also asked if he can kindly check on to see if I need to replace my brakes. Then he said if I dont do tire alignment or if I dont let them take off the tires then they can't check the brakes. Then he said tire rotation will cost about $30 and just so they can check the brakes. I left my car to them around 11:15AM. He told me my car will be ready at 4pm. I was annoyed because there is a 1 hour wait for the shuttle, and after over an hour of waiting someone call me that there is no driver for the shuttle so they booked me a lyft. And their last call is 3pm so I came back at 3 before my vehicle was ready. I waited for another hour before I approach my advisor at 4pm. Then he checked the system and realized my car has not even been assigned to a mechanic yet. I was like here we go again! This was exactly like last time when I had the checkup here. I asked him why this always happens, then he starts to blame it on the system. I was already very annoyed and didnt want to listen to his explanation. So I ask him how much longer will it take. He said maybe another hour or 2! This has happened multiple times before that I am extremely upset with Longo toyota service. He did offer me a rental car, but at that point I didn't want to trust the service anymore and wait another 2 hours. Then he left to talk to the mechanic and came back 5 minutes later and said the car is ready. If the service took only 5 minutes after the mechanic is assigned why did they make me wait 5 hours and still not ready and have me wait additional 2 more hours? When he drove my car out, I asked him has there anything been done? he said yea, they check my car nothing is wrong with it. But they didn;t find the old patch. Which is very weird because you guys patched it for me a little over a year ago. And the other shop I took it to has found the patch. This shows me they are not taking my service seriously. He said next time if I come back they will put oil on all my wheels and check it for me. Why do I have to come back next time? All the shops I've taken it to have done that for me right away free of charge, the only reason they didnt fix it for me is because they said the patch has a slow leak from the inside, I need to go back to the place where I got it done to get it fix, But Longo for some reason either dont remember that I have gotten it done with them before because they didn;t find the patch that other places can find. This shows me their service is very unprofessional. IS it because I was upset that they had to speed up the service? Even though my advisors either from this time or previous times has been very nice and apologetic. But that is not what I need!! I need my car to be checked and fulfill the purpose of why they call me to the shop. Even though I didnt agree to get the packages and pay extra money that doesnt mean I want to spend all day waitinf for you guys to be apologetic and nice to me. My time is valuable just like eveyone elses. So I was called. my appointment was schedule from 11am. I waited till 4pm and my car has not been started. When they finally got my car done in 5 minutes it looks like nothing has been done. I spent my whole day at longo for nothing! Previously the wait was also very long!! It was the same thing, I dont even know if they did anything to my car because they dont have my car service for the whole time it was at the shop, and when I ask them, they quickly said it was done and then drove it out.. This is ridiculous! I dont think they even do anything, They just hold my car for a few hours and release it because seriously I feel no different before and after I took my car in. More
