As usual my experience in scheduling and drop off with Marty Gillons was an excellent experience. He makes it a personal, however, professional experience. However, my experience with Alex the last few times at service have been challenging. I feel that he ends up making a mistake with not communicating properly the first time and on a timely basis. The new email cost analysis that you were able to provide me to review the estimates of the repairs was very helpful. However, it was not proceeded by a call telling me to look for it - I just came upon it about 1pm in the afternoon when checking my email. Further, within an hour later, I still never had gotten a call to ask me how I would like to proceed with the repairs, I had to call Alex. I was used to Marty calling me fairly early in the day to discuss the needed repairs and to come up with a plan on how we were going to move forward. Now it was after 2pm and all that was done on my car was done to the car so far was the $139 service and I had several more things that needed repairs. When we did speak we agreed to specific repairs at specific costs. The plan was that I was going to pick up the car the next morning on Friday. However, the next morning the car still was not ready. And when I called and asked Alex what was the plan, he said to me, I don't know, what is the plan! Not the sort of response I was looking for or expected. So then we decided that I was going to pick the car up on Saturday from the sales team so that they could finish the work that day. He committed to call me to confirm all the items were done and that the car was ready for pick up before the day was over. Then he didn't call me until 4:45pm and followed it by an email saying he hoped it was okay to keep the car for the weekend as the tires had not yet arrived and the alignment had to wait until the tires were changed. This unfortunately messed up our plans for the use of the car on Monday morning. I had another body shop picking up the car to do the mirror repair that I didn't let MB complete for over $500 less. Now, that had to be canceled. I had emailed Alex a few times since the process had started and he did not respond to those emails, and it was now 10am on Monday and I had not heard from him, so I called again and had to leave a message. When he called me back about a half hour later, he said the car was ready and we discussed the invoice. He seemed to have forgotten the amounts we agreed to the week before. However, he quickly adjusted the invoice when I reminded him. He also provided someone to bring my car to me and pick up the loaner, which at this point I truly appreciated since the dealership is about a 40 minute drive for me. I have told my friends how much I prefer Hagerstown MB and that I go there due to Marty and he amazing service. I know Alex tried to fix things at the end, but I wish that the communication and follow through was a lot more smooth along the way. More

As always, my latest service visit at MB of Hagerstown was great. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, my vehicle is serviced promptly,and the accommodations (lounge,restrooms, etc.)are clean and wel was great. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, my vehicle is serviced promptly,and the accommodations (lounge,restrooms, etc.)are clean and well appointed. I'm just starting to work with a member of the sales staff (Barry London) on a possible vehicle sale and he is also a pleasure. Quite honestly, I've looked at other luxury brands (i.e., BMW and Volvo) but the dealership at Hagerstown keeps me coming back to Mercedes. More

Marty Gillions and the service staff in general could not be more helpful, freindly, or accommodating. Hagerstown Mercedes Service Department rates as the best service department I have ever dealt with in my be more helpful, freindly, or accommodating. I would recommend them to anyone, even if they bought their car somewhere else. More

Andre in Sales, made sure we were familiar with all aspects of the vehicle, its capabilities & addressed every question & concern with confidence & conviction. By far the #1 reason we returned for another Mercedes was Marty Gillons, Service Manager. Marty has a personal care for the customer & service that is unparalleled by other dealerships. According to the popular belief, Mercedez Benz will charge you an arm and a leg for whatever service they provide to you. For me, my overall experience with the Hagerstown location has made this belief charge you an arm and a leg for whatever service they provide to you. Not only are your charges reasonable, Marty Gillions, has taken attention given to the customer to the next level; to put it bluntly, he is extra friendly. Oh! lest I forget, the loaner service is a good business strategy; never do away with it. More

We have now purchased 5 vehicles from this dealership. The number one reason we keep coming back is Marty Gillions, head of service and parts. His professionalism, candor, personality, and trustworthiness are the greatest asset that this dealership possesses. We have owned brands other than Mercedes. However, the service we are given at this dealership outweighs buying somewhere else. Our experience this time at the dealership included several other key players. Alex Folz, from service was key in my latest purchase of an E320 Bluetec. After listening to my needs, he suggested I check out this car and it truly is a great fit for my lifestyle. Richard Paden was our salesperson and did an outstanding job of checking in with us from the point we had mentioned wanting to purcahse a new vehicle. While keeping in touch, he was never overbearing but always let us know he was available if we needed assistance. Robert Buchanan, who is new to the dealership as the finance manager, completed our experience. He was very upfront and honest with us throughout the process. Rob showed us various scenarios to assist us in getting to a place that we were comfortable and happy with our purchases. He was very easy going and made us feel at ease. A stellar addition to the team. Lastly, Linda Clark gets a shout out for her consistent telephone professionalism. She speaks succinctly on the phone and has a wonderful demeanor. I always enjoy hearing her voice on the other end. Overall, I highly reccommend this dealership to anyone interested in purchasing a vehicle. The employees we have come in contact with over the 10 years we have been coming here are all professional and exhibit a true desire to help you acheive your goal in a car purchase. More

Pleased with regular service. Still have a warranty issue with MB USA. Alex, Adam, & Marty are working with me to either get car repaired or returned as the chirping noise is still reacurring after a short p with MB USA. All of the staff we interacted with were very friendly as usual. We had our 2008 E350 detailed and it looked like a new car when we piked it up! I don't really have anything else to add at this point except the dealership is adding new space and remodelling the existing space. I am sure this will enhance our next visit to the dealership. The loaner car we recieved was very nice, clean and with a full tank of gas. More

I called to get my car serviced, and it was picked up the very next morning. Bill picked my car off and dropped it off. He is a wonderful person and a true asset to your dealership. My car was repaired quickly and efficiently. So far, every time I have had to do business with this dealership, I couldn't have been more pleased. I bought my car there, and I have it serviced there. I highly recommend this dealership to people, and at this point, I plan on buying all of my future cars there and having them serviced there. This dealership is exceptional! More
