Matt was very nice not pushy. Although I let him know up front I wasn't into pushy sales men. He let me take the car home that I ended up purchasing. After reading about the new CX 5 in Car and Driver and Consumer Reports, I knew I had to take a close look. I surfed the web for offers from nearby dealers to get a feel for prices. Then I headed to O'D Consumer Reports, I knew I had to take a close look. I surfed the web for offers from nearby dealers to get a feel for prices. Then I headed to O'Daniel Mazda here in town after first calling to see if they had what I was looking for. I had never been there before, and was greeted by Matt. I told him what I was interested in and that I wanted to trade in my 16 year-old CRV (that was in excellent condition). We went for a test drive and I was very impressed with Matt's knowledge and easy-going manner. Back at the dealership, he introduced me to two of his co-workers and told me he would be out of town for the rest of the week (he was taking his kids to a water-park in Cincinnati). Before I left the dealership, we struck a deal that I thought was fair. I picked up the car the next day. At that time, a second salesman stepped in for Matt and got me set up and out the door. When he returned from his trip, Matt came over to my home and helped me set up HomeLink for my older garage door opener. He also answered my questions about using my cell phone for navigation, phone calls, and entertainment. He also clarified some questions about lane assist, following in traffic with cruise control, and other features that were new to me. Remember I said the car I traded in was 16 years old … it had none of those features. In summary, as a Senior Citizen, I dreaded the idea of buying a new car from previous experiences, and Matt made it an easy and enjoyable experience. I'm really impressed by my CX 5, Carbon Edition, Turbo! I highly recommend Matt and O'Daniel Mazda. More
