Mark Lidano on the the other hand at Cityside was patient and exerted absolutely no pressure. The price was a fair price and the whole car buying experience was excellent. And, I love the car. More

Excellent and no pressure experience We were intending only to test drive a Subaru the day we went in to Cityside, because we are careful consumers who comparison shop. We had assumed we would be using the car buying services of either Costco or AAA, and had gotten preliminary estimates from several other dealerships. Those particular dealerships, however, were much farther away, so we decided to begin with Cityside. Once there we were helped by Tom D'Allesandro, who was so low-key, knowledgeable, and low-pressure that we decided to order the car that same day, even though the price was somewhat higher than it would have been elsewhere. (We were impressed by other conversations we overheard while waiting, as well.) The model we wanted was sold out on the lot, but we were told another one would be coming in by Oct. 31. It actually arrived a week early. Tom handled the dealings with the registry (new plates and registration) and contacted our insurance company (I also spoke with insurers to give additional info and our OK). As we had requested, the car had been prepared without resorting to the traditional, chemical-smelling cleaners and air "fresheners," which I find suffocating. The financial aspects were handled by Michael Nelson, who was also very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Tom sat with us in the car and showed us how to work the various features, making sure we had no additional questions before driving off. All-in-all, an unexpectedly easy and practically care-free experience. More

When my first brand new Subaru was totaled (and in so doing saved my life and left me with not a scratch) by a texting teenager speeding through a red light, Tom DAlessandro worked diligently to both quickly get me a replacement and also clear a lot of the obstacles associated with switching car loans. Tom is fantastic and, amazingly, so is everyone else who worked together to turn the aftermath of a car crash into an actually pleasurable experience. If there were more stars to give these guys, I would do it! (And the car is great, too!) More
