Beware of dealer’s “accessory value package. ”. It’s a scam. We paid $6.9k for the package and as we picked up the vehicle (23’HRV EL) we were advised that there is no coverage or value, but ju ”. It’s a scam. We paid $6.9k for the package and as we picked up the vehicle (23’HRV EL) we were advised that there is no coverage or value, but just dealership profit. We’d love to learn more, but this likely is not a Honda strategy, but just wolfchase profit scheme. The product MSRP was $28.95k. We would have been ok with being advised up front, before our negotiations and payment to have known this is dealership profit. Very poor business practice. More
