I think you "over estimated" what needed to be done to replace a battery. A $300 job turned into $1500. Now the A/C went out... coincidence? Also... I used to own a Subaru, but the cost of maintenance was becoming too high for me to manage. After much consideration, I decided to trade it in for an electric car.
