Made an appointment and dropped off car for recall notice on brakes. David was service rep. After 3.5 hours of waiting in lounge I went to service area and David said it would be another 20 min. When he fina on brakes. David was service rep. After 3.5 hours of waiting in lounge I went to service area and David said it would be another 20 min. When he finally told me car was finished, he was apologetic and said he had no idea why it took so long. When I asked what time it went into the shop he had no idea. When I asked what they did to car, he explained they sprayed 3 can of sealant on brake lines. As part of service recovery, he gave me 2 business cards for free oil changes. However, when I dropped off car I had a check engine light on, but I told David I wasn't willing to pay the $170 charge to check engine. What's the point of having a service rep handle your service experience if he has no idea what is going on with your car and why it's taking so long. I had to drive 30 minutes to get to dealership to handle the recall, so why would I repeat that in the future for a free oil change and have to endure another long wait. A better service recovery would have been to look and what was causing the check engine light to go on. David missed an opportunity to inform me what was causing the problem and I probably would have paid to have it fixed there. I wound up going to AutoZone and had it diagnosed for free, so I know I'm dealing with a misfire on cylinders 3 and 4. Overall a very poor experience. I did not meet Mike Haveri, but I had to select someone to submit the review. More

I told the person who made my appointment that I had to be somewhere by 11:30. He gave me an 8:30 appointment and said I would be out in 1 hour. It took 2 hours and instead of being able to go home before be somewhere by 11:30. He gave me an 8:30 appointment and said I would be out in 1 hour.
