We want to share our experience buying a car at Elk Grove Subaru. I was real fortunate to have gotten Carl Volk. He was great, I told him what I was looking for, he said there may be 2 or 3 Outbacks like I wanted. He called me back within 30 minutes, I made an appointment for the next morning, drove 1 1/2 hours, met Carl, and bought our 2012 Outback. First car he showed us. Zach was by far the most responsive person I dealt with when I submitted a request for quotes online. He called, answered my questions, and found the car we wanted. Carl, although new, was very helpful and if he didn't know the answer to a question, he was very good and we were treated professionally and fairly. Gabe and Zach went above and beyond putting a deal together for me. My credit was not good and we were working with a small down payment amount. Dave Melo is the most uniquely skilled and efficient car salesman I've ever met. Unlike other salesmen I've dealt with in the past, he didn't waste my time or his at any point during our phone conversations salesman I've ever met. He answered each of my questions with confidence and applomb. Though he touts that Subarus sell themselves, his detailed knowledge of the brand is apparant. Handling of the paperwork was particulary efficient and my conversation with Mike Lagandaon was engaging and informative. When the paperwork was completed, Dave again demonstrated his expertise by going through the owner's manual and operation of the car. I drove away from Elk Grove Subaru knowing that I would never hesitate buying another car from Dave.
