Jon Waugh - Friendly, Knowledgeable, Helpful, Fast. Jon Waugh was not pushy, but he was focused on the subject at hand - which was my interest in the features of a new Subaru Forrester Touring. He not only told me and showed me the new features on the automobile but when my wife called during his demonstration, he spoke pleasantly with her about the safety features she was most interested in. Indeed, his explanations and genuine understanding of these features sold my wife on the car over the phone. I had to admire how Jon had an answer for every obstacle to an immediate sale that I put in his way. His sense of humor about my roadblocks to a sale made these efforts of his very agreeable to me. And I soon knew that when I bought, it would be from Jon. However, I told him that my wife and I would not be serious about buying a new car for over a month - sometime in the coming year. My wife and I came in so she could drive the car and Jon's engaging personality and positive attitude convinced us to listen and soon to agree to buy that very day. So much for waiting till next year. But we are happy and feel we have a friend in Jon, whose enthusiasm for our new car experience was a pleasant experience that put smiles on all of our faces. More

Great Price I knew I wanted a 2018 Impreza so I started getting email quotes from dealers in Virginia and Maryland. Heritage Subaru had the lowest price of all th I knew I wanted a 2018 Impreza so I started getting email quotes from dealers in Virginia and Maryland. Heritage Subaru had the lowest price of all the dealers I contacted. It was kind of far from where I live but worth the trip to save money. When I got there Aleksey had the car ready to go and the buying process was straight forward and low pressure. The only hiccup was the next week I had a phone call from Heritage and they told me they had misplaced my check. Milton seemed genuinely apologetic and offered me free all weather mats to make up for the inconvenience. More

Took Outback in for service; drove away with a new Forester While crossing the lot to pick up my 2015 Outback from its 30K mile service, Sanjay Stachan greeted me and asked if he could help me. I explained tha While crossing the lot to pick up my 2015 Outback from its 30K mile service, Sanjay Stachan greeted me and asked if he could help me. I explained that I was just waiting for my car; we talked a little about the car and he asked if I would be interested in a new car. It was the end of both the month and the quarter, and excellent trade-ins were available for good used cars. I really wasn't interested; our car was only three years old and we usually keep them for 10 to 15 years. We chatted a bit about what I would need if I were looking for a new car. He listened, then suggested I look at a Forester: it's a little smaller than the Outback but with nearly identical cabin space; has more advanced safety features; and has an adjustable lumbar support, so I wouldn't need to drive with a pillow behind my back. We took a test drive and I really liked how it drove and felt. We talked pricing and, unlike our previous experience with many salesman-to-manager round trips, we had an agreement after just two conversations. My husband wasn't with me, so we took a 30-mile round trip to show the car to him and get his thoughts. We decided to buy the car. We downgraded from a Limited to a Premium, but we didn't really need what we gave up, and it helped result in an incremental cost only modestly more than what we still owed on the Outback. Sanjay was great to work with. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the distinctions between the Outback and Forester. He listened to my needs and lifestyle and didn't try to push things we didn't need. He was very helpful along the way, even setting up my radio stations and phone connection. I would definitely work with him again. Sanjay's colleagues were very friendly and helpful as well, answering questions in his absence (he was on a test drive with another customer) and providing a brochure. More
