My partner and I got in contact with Shawn at heritage Subaru after contacting many dealerships in the area to find a good deal on a new 2023 Subaru Outback Onyx. He was happy to beat the price of the other dealerships in the area and was even willing to work with us on accessories, all while being very friendly and cooperative. When we showed up to test drive the car, we worked with Chris who was extremely patient with us and kindly answered all of our questions about the car. When we settled on a a price for the car we worked with Milton in order to finalize the deal. He did a great job explaining the warranty and maintenance options, and was transparent about everything that they offered. From the moment that Sales Associate Chris Felker walked in the showroom with me to the moment he shook my hand before I drove my new Ownings Mills. From the moment that Sales Associate Chris Felker walked in the showroom with me to the moment he shook my hand before I drove my new pre-owned car off the lot (just under 4 hours), it was the most professional experience I have had in my 40 years of driving and purchasing new cars. Chris could (and should) teach a Master class in how associates should interface with customers. He was tuned in to what I wanted and needed. Knowledgeable, prepared and of course respectful and friendly. Also of note was my interaction with Sales Manager James Pedersen who evaluated my trade-in. Fully explained his assessment. He was genuinely concerned about my safety in that vehicle even if I wasn’t going to purchase a car from Heritage. And finally, working with F&I Manager Milton Taylor capped off the day. No pressure to accept options for financing that did not fit my desire. (And finishing all of the financial paperwork electronically was a bonus of the process.)
